I notice that all religions seem to have similar events in their 'bibles' so to speak. The son of God birthed by a virgin, the great flood, etc.

Find a virgin birth in Judaism, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, Shinto, or admit you don't know as much about other religions as you thought.

OK, assuming for a moment (just a sec, gotta turn off 99% of my brain for this) that there is a "God". Religion A says you must do action #1 to honor God. Religion B says action #1 is blasphemy for which you must die immediately. They cannot both be right. Therefore, someone's doing it wrong. Again I ask, WHO?

I myself would fall into the above category. I'm an alcohol-drinking, heavy-metal-listening student, who believes in the Big Bang Theory, evolution, doesn't believe in Heaven or Hell, or indeed in "Him", as you put it.

If I don't want to pray for myself, why would I want you to pray for me?

I mean, feel free to! If it makes you happy you can pray for me! Equally, you can carry on offending people who don't deserve it, such as homosexuals and the mentally disabled. (I have a gay best friend if you weant something else to pray about).
