Sorry, I missed your post. I am here because a friend showed me the thread and I read some comments I didn't agree with. I didn't mean to offend. Like I said before, I do not wish to tell people what they believe is wrong, merely discuss opinions. Apologies if offence has been caused. I am leaving now.

I leave my home, but not very much I'll admit that. But that's because there literally nothing to do in this city I live in and there is crime also. I do not play with razorblades. For those unaware of this website, 'Goths Up Trees' is a Gothic propaganda website, aimed at brainwashing millions of normal people into wrongly believing that goths are happy well adjusted normal people who like to climb trees.

Amazingly, they even have images of Goths in trees on their website - out in BROAD DAYLIGHT!



People, do NOT be fooled here! These images are OBVIOUSLY FAKES! The people who run this disgusting website have either had these pictures photoshopped, have paid people to dress-up as Goths and climb trees, or these pictures really are goths, and they have been bribed to come out in the daytime and climb these trees, with the promise of money to feed their crack addiction!

You are right about one thing. A lot of the people on that website aren't even Goth. Just because someone uploads a picture to a Goth website does not mean they are Goth. A lot of people call themselves Goth without understanding what a Goth even is. People who are not Goth do not represent the goth scene.

However, the Columbine kids were not goths either. They did not listen to goth rock. And Goths do leave their houses and often. There are festivals all over Europe, goth clubs, Victorian goth picnics in cemeteries, a lot of goths attend renaissance festivals. I personally do a lot of hiking and urban exploring. We also do not "play with razor blades" or do drugs. These are stereotypes and misconceptions. We don't "masturbate over dead animals" either. Most Goths are very fond of animals and would not harm them.

Quite a few Goths also have been known to climb trees. While most people on that site aren't goth, if you look through it long enough you will find a few people who obviously are. You can usually tell by band t-shirts or the style of someone's hair and dress. While Goth is about music, there is a certain image/style that was popularized by Goth bands. Usually the only people who dress like the original Goth bands are actual Goths.

Goths are not against sports or daylight. I played badminton in high school. I'm involved in belly dancing/goth dancing, archery, fencing, horse back riding, etc., We don't exercise? I've already said I like to do a lot of hiking, which is common within the Goth scene. Most real Goths are actually skinny or fit/healthy and work out a lot. Some of my friends go to the gym almost every day. We also are often pale because we use sunblock and parasols when we go out, to avoid premature aging and getting sunburn, blisters and skin cancer.

Fat is beautiful.

Scripture does not say anything about the modern Goth subculture in general as it was written centuries before the Goth subculture even existed. As someone who is a Goth and part of this subculture, I know what it is about and what goes on. I've provided you evidence that Goths are not fat, actual images of Goths who are not fat, and all you people do is edit my posts and call it "porn."

You do not have to believe that Goths are not sinning. I understand that is never going to happen. But there is no reason you cannot learn what the word Goth actually means; a fan of Goth Rock. And there is no need to call all Goths "fat" or spread false information that we "eat babies", "sacrifice people", "shoot up schools" which puts us in real physical danger.

Clothing is not a costume. People dress in whatever clothing they like. Some Goths dress perfectly normal and some fans of country music dress in "Western" clothing. There is no fashion requirement for being a fan of goth rock.

Most modern Pagans are not going to sacrifice people because they know how to adjust to the laws of a country and because we have evolved and learned morals, unlike some religions. Paganism has nothing to do with being Goth though. Goths are fans of a Goth rock; that has nothing to do with religion. Goths do not sacrifice people, eat babies, shoot up schools and are not all fat. These are actual facts.
