South Africa cardinal says pedophilia not a crime

JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - A South African cardinal who helped elect Pope Francis this week has told the BBC pedophilia is an illness and not a crime.

Cardinal Wilfrid Fox Napier, the Catholic Archbishop of Durban, told BBC Radio 5 on Saturday that pedophilia was a "disorder" that needed to be treated.

"From my experience, pedophilia is actually an illness. It's not a criminal condition, it's an illness," he said.

Napier said he knew of at least two priests who became pedophiles after they were abused as children.

"Now don't tell me that those people are criminally responsible like somebody who chooses to do something like that. I don't think you can really take the position and say that person deserves to be punished. He was himself damaged."

The Catholic Church has had its image deeply tarnished by a widespread child sex abuse scandal.

Napier was one of the 115 cardinals in the Vatican conclave that elected Pope Francis on Wednesday, the BBC reported.

I think pedophilia is a misleading term created by the Obama liberal media.

The Bible teaches us there is nothing wrong with having sex with children (Numbers 31:17-18, 2 Samuel 13:10-16, Genesis 19:30-38). Just as long as the child is a virgin girl. And, as Redeemed Papist already mentioned, the man pays the father of the girl and properly marries the girl (Deuteronomy 22:28-29).

The big problem with these Catholic priests is of course that they refuse to pay the father for the damage they did to his property, refuse to marry the girl (they even have rules forbidding them to marry the girl ) and worst of all, often have sex with little boys. Apparently none of them has a sense of smell, no doubt caused by being forced to drink cheap wine all the time.

Leave it to the LIEberal media to miss the point entirely. First, Catholics are all Hellbound servants of Satan, so we should never be surprised when they say something horrible.

Second, just like Brother Niles said, gay sex is gay sex, with a little boy queer or a grown up fag. The faggotry is the REAL problem. It's unnatural, it spreads the AIDS, it's gross, and most importantly, the Bible says it's wrong.

Third, as has been mentioned above, all sex outside of wedlock is FORNICATION! How hard is this to understand? If a man has sex with an adult woman or a little girl or a fourteen year old, he had better be married to her, END OF STORY!

According to my dictionary from the 1960's masturbation is a form of "self inflicted abuse" and homosexuality is a "mental illness". I see no reason to move to a more "modern" dictionary.

These types of dangerous sinners will not be saved. Why should we lock them up in special hospitals, that would mean we need to care for these damned souls. For most of them, salvation is out of reach, and they should be judges and subjected to the wrath of the lord.
