I believe the process of forming oxygen in the secular science is called nucleosynthesis, Sister. I am unclear what would be the assumed role of trees in this process. After the destruction of the Great Flood, God commanded people to be fruitful and multiply. He also permitted the eating of meat -- not that there was much of it around at the time. Noah had only taken 7 of every clean animal aboard the Ark. However, eating meat seems to have been key to replenishing the earth. 4,300 years ago there were only 8 people, 7 of every clean animal and 2 of every unclean. Today there are over 7 billion people and countless animals. Clearly God's plan has worked.

Also, when God allowed the eating of animals, he put the fear of man in them as a survival mechanism. Don't you think it's cruel not to eat animals if they're going to be afraid of us anyway? What needless suffering if we're not going to eat them! Vegans are sadistic!

If you know someone suffering from these symptoms, prayer is the answer. Unless he's committed blasphemy against The Holy Ghost. The wrong words spoken at the wrong time here on earth can have everlasting consequences beyond the end of time. Even a single word, perhaps uttered in the throes of debauchery, for less than a second, whispered even! can blast a soul beyond Redemption; beyond Redemption forever.

Satan wants this to happen and his minions don't care. For Christians it's impossible. In between are the few whom God has called to be with Him but they haven't heard yet. Many of course have not been called, according to His purpose: these signs help us to distinguish whether the ultimate blasphemy has been committed or not.
