Why the reluctance to write GOD. It's not a "name" it is word and the definition of an entity you should bow to.

As you know, there's a problem. The ancient Hebrews did not use vocalizations and when they finally did in the 1100's they borrowed the vowels from "Adonai" (hence "Jehova") and "elohim" ("Yehovih").

Why the compulsion to make this four-letter word into a "name"? It is a verb form! The most plausible pronunciation is Yahwää ("Ä" is the corresponding front vowel to "A"). And all this because it clearly is an imperfective aspect verb and God Himself tells us that it is not about the name but the action and the being.

Exodus 3:14. And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

God speaking with the perpendicular pronoun while the scribes used the third person singular masculine. Verb. Action. Doing and being.

The same with Jesus. When I evangelize in other countries I have no trouble using the local word for my Good Friend Jesus Christ. How convenient for you to have knowledge hidden from everyone else. Now let's cross the Mediterranean sea and have a look at Spain. All of a sudden she's changed her name to Isabel! Is that because the Spanish don't have an equivalent of the name Elizabeth? Nope, they have Elisabet. The Catalans and the Basques call her Elisabet in their languages. Let's have a look at the Godless Portuguese - hey, she's Isabel again! Next, "Emo" is not a religion. It was an Alternative movement started in the mid-80s following the Post-Hardcore Punk stage, and Metal bands. I repeat, NOT A RELIGION!


The term "Emo" stands for "Emotive". This is derived from the black suits worn by bands in the aforementioned era, to detract from the "showing" of music and to make people truly listen to the music.


As well, true "Emos" do not hurt themselves, that is a "mainstreamer" and not a true one. The only distinguishable thing is Hair Colour, Clothe Style, and Music genre.
