What a bunch of sissies. Do you know how many times I've been punched or beaten proselytizing to the unsaved? I'm not sure what you mean by "both ‘sinners’" but it is worth remembering that Jesus’ disciples went armed.

Christians in The Bible went armed. Jesus endorsed that even recommending that clothing be sold to finance armaments if that was the only way to raise funds. Although He healed the poor wretch whose ear was severed, who after all was only doing as his employer had instructed, when swords were necessary to fulfill Scripture swords there were with no prior notice given nor surprise expressed.

Jesus preached love, forgiveness and acceptance. Jesus would not approve of you slaying another human being regardless of their beliefs. What defines a "non-believer"? Faith is faith and it can't be proven or disproven. No one is right or wrong when it comes to a discussion about God our Creator. Christianity and other belief systems attempt to explain the world that we as humans are unable to experience with our limited 5 senses. Our God cannot be described with words or images because he is not worthy of our flaws.

The Bible has been translated over 8 times and with each translation, went some of the literal meaning. Some words simply don't translate from one language to the next, so metaphors were used to convey the message. Instead of a physical sword, do you think Jesus advised to be quick at the wits so as to be able to "slay" a foe with words?
