You sound like a Christian before you said you were an atheist.

I know the Bible better than most. This discussion is about what the Bible says, not what we feel is "right". Unfortunately, most people are so upset by what they find the Bible actually says, their emotions take over and they're incapable of discussing it rationally.

I have read the Bible before, never the KJV Bible, we don't have one.

Here's a link to the online one I use. You can pick one up at Wal-Mart (there are lots around because it's the 400th anninversary of the KJV1611, so they're cheap). Or you could ask a Baptist church for one, they might let you have it for free.

Btw, if you managed to read the NIV cover-to-cover, congrats. It's a surefire insomnia cure for me.

Ok... let me ask you so-called christians something here, how is it that you feel that you are speaking the word of god when you say that because some women got raped and pregnant that she is a whore for not wanting to marry him, that does not make her a whore, it is normal.

PotUSA: They're a near perfect example of what I mentioned in my previous post, yet even worse, they're Catholic. They listen to the kiddie-diddlers in funny dresses, and never check an actual Bible to see what it really says.

For instance: The RCC claims (since the 1850's at least) that Mary who gave birth to Jesus:

1) Was born of a virgin herself, and
2) Ascended into Heaven

Alright, alright, TIMEOUT!!!! If that girl was raped, is it worth to FORCE her to marry her rapist? THINK with your heads and NOT with your butts. The person who posted this thread is a total idiot. What if you got raped, smarty pants? Would you marry your rapist? If I was her I'd abort the baby right away (this thread might be old but just saying), no matter how strongly I believe in God. Would you like to look at the man who raped you and remember the worst day of your life? Or would you rather remove all his marks on you and forget it? Seriously, this girl doesn't deserve it. And NO she WILL NOT burn in hell if she doesn't marry him. Some parents are totally stupid - if my mother made me marry my rapist I'd shout 'I HATE YOU' in her face. Where is your husband and why are you not with him asking him to instruct you in the ways of God instead of shaming him with your sentimental own opinion in public, woman?
