What do your parents teach you, womens rights have been going strong for say close to a 50 - 60 years. In government law a woman may choose whoom she wishes to marry.

ok i see your point, i never said i fully agree with the Quran just like i dont fully agree with the Bible.
both were written centuries ago and the passages in both are way outdated, for people to actually enforce what is in these books is socially wrong as we have outgrown the traditions with modern society

I think it a great acheivement to still believe in a certain religion due to the fact of all these researches disagreeing with what the holy books say, i do however hate the people who are not open up to at least hear out other possibilities.

Maybe GOD is testing us to find out the truth of why there are different religions, maybe it just happened and we have to live with it, maybe theres no GOD at all. i dont know but what i do know is that if there is a GOD but what i do know is that the whole world would benefit if we all has goodness in our hearts.

Um, you think it is common sense that you need FOUR witnesses in order to punish a rapist? First off, rapes usually happen somewhere private, so there aren't ANY witnesses. Are you saying in those cases a rapist shouldn't be punished because nobody was around?

It is my understanding that under islameic law, women aren't allowed to associate with men they aren't related to. Thus, rapes cannot occur in private without the woman violating the law first. Or she is raped by a relative, in which case it's an internal matter that should be resolves inside the family. It's not for the courts.

Just because mooslims are 99% wrong doesn't mean there isn't that 1% that makes sense...
