It was confirmed Friday, and we were going to announce it today at church but what with potluck and all, we just forgot.

Of course we don't know what gender it is, but I'm sure God is going to bless us with a healthy son.

Vicky is just beside herself with joy! She'll be eating for two now.

Can you believe my doctor said I should be on a strict diet for the health of the baby? Babies need to grow and they need food to do so! If it's a boy, I want him to grow big and strong like his Daddy! And if it's a girl, then I guess that's just God's Divine Plan and we'll still love her anyway.

I think my feet are already beginning to swell. This is so exciting!

No doubt we will be expecting a very bouncing baby. Maybe he/she might break a record or two for Iowa births!

Now, I'm excited about this. When you two got married this past July, the Bachelor Party we threw for Don was just amazing. I never had a better time in my life, and that's saying a lot. 9 months from now, I think us boys need to throw Officer Don a Congratulations Party. Start thinking of ideas, gentlemen.

Oh and whoever invited that damn transsexual to the Bachelor Party, real funny ha ha. No more hijinx like that.

Reverend Jim, I agree that another celebration will be in order. You'll be hard pressed to top the bachelor's party, but I bet you have some more tricks up your sleeve you haven't told us about.

Me and Vicky are both real excited, we're already looking at cribs and wall paper for a nursery. We're positive it's going to be a boy. We have served the Lord our entire lives and I know he would have no reason to send us a girl.

The nursery theme is going to be guns and sports.

How did you find out she was pregnant? Surely she can't be showing yet . . .

I thought Vicky was a bit old for bearing children. She looked to be well into her 50s when I met her, not to mention morbidly obese. How ever did you manage the conception? What was lost now is found! Truly, this must be a miracle!
