What do you mean "Why should God punish my child for my mistakes?" He's GOD! He can do whatever He wants, and it's clear from scripture that He wants to punish your children for your fornication. (see the scripture Pastor Sampson posted).

In fact, God often uses people's children to punish them for their sinfulness. That's why we need to accept Jesus fully as our Lord and Savior to avoid that unpleasantness.
