I'm not sure what I am as far as religious titles go. I do believe religion causes more problems than it solves and that your relationship with God should be between you and God.

You should have a read of the Bible more often. The context Love Thy Neighbour is in refers to all people as your neighbour. Not so called "True Christians™". We follow the Holy Word of God, literally, as written. That's what God commands us to do.

Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

Matthew 4:4 Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

If you don't like what the Bible says, take it up with God. But it is not an option to edit His Holy Word just because some parts make you squeamish, or don't fit in with modern liberal philosophies.
