    How can it be unloving?

1 John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Have you thought about choosing not to be a lesbeian and instead embracing the muscular arms of Jesus Christ, Himself?

Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Such harsh words to people who are here to help. Coming here to foul mouth this mans family?

Clearly you do need a forced hand opon you. For its clear you never have.
When men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him, and putteth forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets. Then thou shalt cut off her hand, thine eye shall not pity her. Deuteronomy 25:11-12

          Re: Christian Domestic Discipline

Hypothetical situation. You move to the city with your family. Living next door to you are a family that does not attend church. Husband, wife, two kids, dog.

The husband is kind of nerdy, works in the tech industry, mostly keeps to himself. The wife works in the pharmaceutical industry, where she helps develop lifesaving medicines. The kids are kind of quiet and involved in various pursuits at school. The oldest daughter is about to go to college looking to get into a premed program and become a doctor. The son is really into music, been playing guitar and drums for years and has a heavy metal band that practices in the garage twice a week, Sundays and Wednesday evenings. The parents are ok with this.

They have one of those Coexist bumper stickers on their car, and you suspect the children don't like being around your family very much.

          How do you react?

Presumably, this family drives a Prius. Is that correct?

It strikes me that there is far too much detail in this "hypothetical" situation for it to be hypothetical. If you are having problems with your neighbors, then I am sure that there are people here who will be happy to advise. But this particular thread is not the place for us to do so.

Why not start a thread in the Introduction Forum so that we can get to know you? Introductory threads are a good place to ask for help.

One of the Pastors may correct me, but as far as I know, waterboarding is not a Biblical punishment method. (I think you're confusing the Bible with the CIA torture textbook - an innocent mistake, but a mistake nonetheless).

Beating your children, that's the way to go:

Proverbs 13:24 - He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

Proverbs 22:6 - Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Proverbs 22:15 - Foolishness [is] bound in the heart of a child; [but] the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.

Proverbs 29:15 - The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left [to himself] bringeth his mother to shame.

Proverbs 29:17 - Correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul.

Hebrews 12:11 - Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
God created fossils to test our faith.

                    I am kind of old fashioned sometimes, things don't always need to be complicated. I have various ways depending on the severity;

                    I was Praying to Jesus

                    I can't believe that wasn't butter

                    I said 2:45 pm not 2:43

                    I ... forget

Are you not worried your post might make Jesus sick to his stomach? Matthew 6:7.
Jeremiah 6:21 Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will lay stumblingblocks before this people, and the fathers and the sons together shall fall upon them; the neighbour and his friend shall perish.
