And I suppose you've been given that authority from the Almighty himself. *rolls eyes*. Look, I love God, no matter how you people (who are quickly seeming like cult oriented elitists as opposed to Christians charged with spreading the good word) my try and skew and twist things. I was hoping that this site would be able to support reasonable and intelligent debates, but I can see now that I will be met with nothing but the rather stereotypical Head-In-Ass-Christian (should be a particular denomination at this point) psychology that they're right and that a book that's been translated 100s of times for the sake of population control and governmental influence has all the answers. I wonder if prayer can cure extreme idiocy? With that, I resign from this ridiculous mass of conformists already. I hope you all enjoy your ignorant bliss.

So what does that mean exactly? What one person determines the "correct" interpretation of the Bible to be followed? I certainly don't believe worship should be viewed so cut and dry. How can you follow something 100% that everyone may interpret differently? The Bible should be used as conduit and source for our faith sure, but at what point does our God given free will come into play? There's a reason we don't all think the same way.

How do you know of God and Jesus? What is the source of your information?

The only objective source we have is the Bible. Now, you are saying that you think we should ignore the parts of it we don't like.

Which parts? How do you decide? If part of God's Word is wrong, how do you know any part is right?
