Very pleased that Our President has signed an Executive Order to get this construction underway before the weekend. I will feel a little pain about having to pay 20% more for my tequila, taco shells, sombreros and my housemaid, Juanita, but it seems to be the best way to get Mexico to pay for The Wall.

Thank you for bringing up this very important point, Brother Phil. A 20% increase on taxes on stuff imported from Mexico will mean that prices of that stuff will rise accordingly. That means that we, Americans, will pay 20% more for vehicles, other machinery, food, and oil.

At a first glance, that would mean that Americans would spend even more money on imports from Mexico, and therefore increase the trade deficit that our Bestest President Ever () is rightfully complaining about.

But I'm just a lowly female so I have trouble comprehending such complex stuff as international economics.

I'm so glad that finally we've got a President who understands these things so much better than I could ever do.

Would this not be a moot point as Trump already stated that he would bankrupt the USA? To me such seems as a formality as the US debt at almost 20.000.000.000 is hardly serviceable. at. a. zero. percent. interest. rate.

Well, a well-orchestrated bankruptcy is the best option for an individual who maxed out his credit card, then asked to raise the debt limit, then maxed out again... again... and again.

I'm pretty sure it would be the best option for an entire country as well. I mean, what could go wrong, right?

There's always been that proverbial question - what have the Romans ever done for us? Roman concrete comes to mind - and from what I understand it was the construction material of greatness, mixed with stone to build mighty walls.

Those pictures are indeed sad to look at Sister, and it stands in evidence of the devastation wrought by too many years of Labour (Democrat) governments in power that allowed the infrastructure to deteriorate (and the stones were most likely stolen to build other things - typical socialists).

The end result is that today the British have to endure the Godless kilt wearing degenerate Scottish culture.

Yes! We want to pay more for products and for labor! We prefer inflation rates than getting together with taco-smelling messicans.
So far the volunteers have gathered USD 120 million. It is a little short of the 21 billion needed for the wall, but it is something.

Guys, this is getting ridiculous. Where are the millions of Donald supporters? I was expecting some help. One brick by every Donald voter, and the wall would have been finished.

Mexico will pay for the wall. President Trump will hire a bunch of Mexicans and then not pay them. That is how he gets even for immigrants taking American jobs plus, Mexicans and Negroes were designed for hard labor in the hot sun that is why God made them stupid and put them in Africa and Mexico.



I do think we should put the incarcerated Negroes to use building the wall and not pay them.

Why not just redefine the border as a straight line and set up a gamma radiation beam, or neutron beam or something aren't microwaves lethal at the right intensity? so anyone moving through the beam would get their liver fried and that would be that.

Or their brains. It would be like a moat wouldn't it? This is not in any way racist. They can't help it. On one side of the wall/moat would be preserved decencies, civil society, freedom of speech and movement, Christian churches (but no papists, presbyterians, zoroastrians, hindoos and stuff) on the other side whatever it is they're all so desperate to get away from. Poisonous ethics, manipulation, bribery really the mind boggles they've had just as much time as America to get sorted out but judging by their OWN ASSESSMENT it's worth risking life and limb to escape whatever hellhole they've created so what's the cheapest way to make that a certainty?
