Every year some atheist organization puts out a list of the ten happiest countries in the world. The U. S. never comes close to making it. This year it slipped down a few spots. Hallelujah.
While we here at Landover Baptist live without sin, we were born sinners. What is the rest of the U.S. supposed to do, jump up and down with "happiness" over The Fall and that huge numbers are headed to hell? This country will continue to suffer because it needs to repent of its sin. It needs to be miserable.
Then, Jesus died for our sins. Are we supposed to celebrate that by saying, "Oh, that makes me feel good. I'm so happy I made Jesus suffer and die."
No, a nation that has not repented of its sin is better off being miserable.

How can anyone be depressed when we live in God's Favorite Country? This polls sounds very biased and arbitrary. I bet the results were skewed by liberal ingrates, immigrants and its-all-about-me-Gen Z millenials ditching classes and spitting on America.
