Why do I seem unable to have children?

I wish to have little soldiers and no matter how hard I try, I fail. I have prayed fervently to God™ on this matter and still all attempts have failed. I must also state that my wife is very over-weight and is unable to lose the weight. We both go to church EVERY week but she at times is not able to come to bible studies and additional meetings.

I am afraid and concerned. I am not against the issue being with myself but I cannot negate the possibility that my wife has done wrong in some way.

Please guide me brothers and sisters, I am at a loss as to what I should do next.

    As always,
All praise to the Lord God™

Let me try this from a secular approach (sorry if I offend blah blah blah), but maybe it isn't that you're unable to bear children, but maybe your husband's fish aren't swimming properly? Or maybe the schools a bit thin? Could be the size of the fishing pole too. (Don't you love my comparisons? I know you do. LOVE MAI COMPARISONS!)

Where in the Bible does it state that weight is a factor in a couple's ability to reproduce? The last I checked, FAITH, not weight, is a much greater influence.

If GOD is not blessing you with a child there must be something one or both of you (probably your wife) are doing that is upsetting GOD.

You should just be thankful that He has only showed His displeasure in blocking your ability to have children and hasn't decided to smite you.

My wife and I had the same problem. Then the Pastor suggested something called "sex". It is a very disgusting habbit but it did indeed fix our problem. I am not capable of explaining it to you but there is an amazingly high number of websites on the subject.

That your seed has failed to find purchase in the moonscape that is your wife's womb is indeed sad. I would recommend prayer, and extensive counseling sessions with one of the fine Landover Pastors. Tithing generously would not hurt either.

                    Jesus said

That whosoever shall... shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark 11:23-24

If you're praying, and you're not getting what you wish, you obviously don't believe. I suggest finding a Bible-believing Baptist Church immediately and seeking pastoral counseling for your lack of faith.

We both go to church EVERY week but she at times is not able to come to bible studies and additional meetings.
And there you have it. You are her husband, so why is she not obeying you?

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. Colossians 3:18

Or are you not ordering her to attend Bible study? I don't care if you have to grease her up and shove her into a wheelbarrow, you need to get that woman to Church.

I cannot negate the possibility that my wife has done wrong in some way.
Numbers 5 has a sure-fire way to determine if your wife has been unfaithful. It's a bit long to quote here, but the bottom line is that a priest gives her a mixture of holy water, barley, and dust. If her belly swells and her thighs rot, you know that she's been unfaithful (you can read the details here). Note that you need a Jewish priest to do this, not one of the so-called Catholic priests. Just call your local Orthodox synagog and tell them you need to borrow a Kohen (pronounced ko-hain) for a few hours for a sacred ritual, and they'll fix you up. But don't trust them with your wallet, it's called a sin-agog for a reason!

I suppose that if your wife stays barren after you've taken these steps, she could always do as Sarah did for Abraham, and offer her towel-head handmaiden to you to bear a child, as described in Genesis 16.

The original poster Hamtaro is the husband, and it is highly unlikely that his "fish aren't swimming properly", as you so crudely put it. Whenever a Biblical husband and wife had difficultly conceiving a child, it was due to the wife being barren. There are references to seed (of the manly sort) being deliberately degraded by the LORD, but I believe this describes generational curses being placed upon a person's descendants. For example:

                          1 Kings 11:39
And I will for this afflict the seed of David, but not for ever.

                          Malachi 2:3
Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it.

I am no theologian and could very well be wrong -- perhaps this does describe the LORD making men sterile? However, if God hasn't plastered dung upon Hamtaro's face, then this is very good news for him, i.e., it is his wife's fault they cannot conceive. Praise!
