Why not close registration to this forum?

Because of your little "What is fapfapfap" thread, your forum has appeared on Digg and Reddit. Hundreds of people are mocking your forum there, and dozens have registered to mock you here.

If this really is all just a mockery of fundamentalist stereotypes as external sources claim you are, then shut the clubhouse door and continue your little charade and roleplay without having to deal with the trolls who will inevitably keep coming.

If you are all serious about being xenophobic hyper-religious Baptist devotees, then shut the doors and have a better screening process for new members than a bible verse that can be googled easily.

It just seems like, either way, you're accepting these new members because you enjoy arguing and damning them.

On the contrary, I have myself personally received dozens of messages, through IM, PM, email and SMS of people who felt genuinely brought closer to God thanks to my own efforts alone. That is even excluding the efforts of the many True Christians™ here.

Here is an example of one such message that I got permission to quote (on condition of anonymity): "My dearest friend in Christ. I came to your forum to mock you, thinking you were just stupid christers like all the rest of them. boy was i in for a shocker! you guys know your stuff! i never knew the KJV 1611 Bible was so intricate. thank you, thank you, thank you! see ya in HEAVEN! GOD BLESS!"

I do not mean the above to brag since that would be wrong (the glory is upon God, not me), but it's just to demonstrate the side of the story you never hear about.

Mr. Alpine. Jesus has always been mocked in here by those who did not believe but every once in a while Landover saves a heathen who has been lost. I once was lost but now i have been found. God guided me to Landover Baptist and i am sure he is guiding a lot of those who mock him even now as i type. So if the Registration request is locked,Satan once again wins.

I suppose you're one of those who thinks Christians should just sit down and shut up and stop voting and stop running for elected office (like, say, President Obama), right?

We are commanded to witness to the world. So we do. How better to reach tens of thousands of the unsaved in a single day, and have them learn what the Bible really says, than this?

I know what you'll say. "Why not just do a TV show?"

A TV show would be watched only by those already converted. It is not evangelism to preach to the choir; rather, it is evangelism to seek out the unsaved and introduce them to the white-hot Love of Jesus! And as you say, they seek US out instead, making our outreach that much more efficient!
