I cannot believe that I am reading this. I am telling you what is in the Bible, King James 1611 version. This is is fact. This is the teaching of Jesus Christ. Jesus HIMSELF said what I passed onto you. These are JESUS' teachings. I am not sure what to make of this. Are you suggesting that Jesus' teachings are a work of Satan?! How can you POSSIBLY call yourself a Christian!? In What Way am I DENYING GOD?!

C0ntradiction, you are clueless. I very seldom come across such exceptional ignorance about God's Word.

First of all, Jesus was talking to a specific person when he said this. He never said that we should do this as well. Instead, about Salvation™ He said:

Mark 16:16:
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

This makes it clear that it is faith and baptism that sends people to Heaven, not works.

Why, then, did Jesus order this man to sell everything he has, if it wasn't necessary for Salvation™?

The answer is directly after the Verses you quoted! You would do well to actually follow the entirety of the Bible, instead of tearing certain Passages out of context to make them say something which they do not in reality!

First of all, note that Jesus talked about "a treasure in Heaven," not Salvation™. For the Salvation™, the "follow me" part was important, as clarified in Mark 16:16. For the treasure in Heaven, the "give away all that you have" part is important.

Now, let's look at what this passage really teaches:

Luke 18:22-30:
Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me. And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.
And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
For it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
And they that heard it said, Who then can be saved? And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee.
And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake,
Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting.

I have highlighted the important part for you. If we give all our earthly possessions over to Christ, we shall receive "manifold in present times." I myself was poor when I achieved Salvation™, but I have been blessed since then, for example with this computer.

So, your implication that a True Christian™ cannot have personal possessions is complete and utter heresy. We can have possessions, but only if we receive them from Jesus. Of course, everything we have at Landover is a gift and blessing from Jesus.

Now before you make yourself look even more ridiculous, wouldn't it be a good idea to actually consider the situation of your own eternal soul?
