I went by her cabin today to get some extra apples for some pies, and she'd collapsed outside. I think she was out there all night. She'd apparently been dragging river rocks up to her porch, in case she didn't get the holy stones. I dribbled some water on her and she came to. Of course, the pump doesn't work anymore and I had to collect it from a stump hollow.

I don't know what to tell her, but anything you can do to explain things to her would be MUCH appreciated. because she has proved to be an EARLY EARLY riser, and starts her phone calls while it's practically still dark out.

I am approaching my wit's end.
I will go and see her, the Holy Rocks are coming in late next week. I will give her my cell number to get her off your back.
I had a plan for the farm but I was not able to purchase the adjacent land. I do how ever have another idea. I have an idea for all the young brides in our congregation.
A back to basics training area. A place where young Christian ladies can learn the correct way to run a home without all the comforts that they think they need.
Would you and Sisters Talitha and SUV be willing to tackle such a project?

THANK YOU, Brother! That is a true weight off my mind (and morning schedule)

I think the Bridal Training Camp is a great idea! And that farm has all the old, sturdy equipment, because Widow Sharon only trusts the "olde ways". There's butter churns, a foot-operated sewing machine, candle-dipping vats, wood-burning stove, etc. etc. If the Landover Brides can handle those, any Swiffer PickerUpper or Dirt Devil they're lucky enough to receive as an anniversary present some year will be like a goldmine!!!

(I think if the men pitch in, we can even convert that smoke house off to the side into a menstrual hut? How far from the dwelling does it have to be, by the town ordinance?)

Sister I am happy you agree with the plan. Its possible that my ex-wife might still be around if I could have sent her to a place like this to get her mind right.
Today's females have it far to easy, they think they need a maid to help clean a home of 8,000 sq. ft. They need a cook, a nanny, gardeners , pool boy the list never ends. Every day its off to the city, shopping for clothes, hair dressers, manicure's, pedicure's, lunch and then the bridge club for cocktails and gossip.
They (females) need to return to there duties, cooking, cleaning, tending to the children. Whats wrong with milking the cow, churning butter, spinning cotton into thread and weaving cloth? Have females become lazy? When is the last time you saw one walking behind a plow, splitting a rail for a fence or digging a well? My ex-wife even demanded a washing machine and clothes dryer, what the heck is wrong with a stream and two rocks? God gave us the sun and the gentle breeze to dry clothes, hang them on a rope for Pete's sake.

As far as the distance for a menstrual hut, its 500 feet. Due to the fact that there will be no men around it does not matter much. The only reason its 500 feet is so we don't have to listen to the constant bitching from females during their unclean time.

Doing such chores can be a very meditative "alone time", to reflect on Scripture and God(tm)s plan. When men deprive their wives of this time is when the trouble starts, because the wives grow further and further from Him.

Technically, you're right. But I respectfully offer this: Isn't it also important for modern-day brides to get comfortable with the extended isolation and confinement that enclosed menstrual huts provide? In fact, I've heard of thoughtful fathers who begin isolating their daughters early, before the sin of blood actually bestows itself on the girlchild....so that the transition to the menstrual hut isn't such a claustrophobic shock, later.

That's when things can get noisy.

I did a little digging, the law say we cant build on the land , it does not say we cannot relocate. We will move the smoke/menstrual shack 500 feet.

              GREAT!

It's important for the young wives to experience the standard 500 feet, and get used to "throwing their voices" that far, in case of emergency.

Sometimes a locked menstrual hut can catch on fire (or be attacked by wild animals, attracted by the scent), and if a husband chooses not to install a phone, they need to rely on a vocal call for help in order to summon a Village Sister to check things out.

Maids? Help? Another woman touching my house? Okay, our house isn't 8,000 square feet but the idea of another woman going through my stuff just creeps me out.

AMEN BROTHER! Although I don't milk a cow (is a goat close enough?) and I don't spin cotton I do agree that women have become lazy. When I was growing up, feeding livestock was considered womans work, this involved hauling 50 pound bags of feed and 80 pound bales of hay. Heavy "mens" work involved doing the actual haying (off of the fields) and handling/butchering livestock.

umm..... er..... yeah I think I have to go with your ex on the washer thing. Also around here, hanging clothes to dry just wouldn't work. They would just mold and rot out there in the rain.

Well isn't that nice! I guess he showed his true colors. Damn Liebrals are turning this nation against God. Mayor did you know that Iowa passed a law that allows homers to get married? Oh sure they call it a civil union, but the homers still get the same rights as normal married people do. Lucky for us Freehold does not have any, or a local judge would find himself marring two of them. Have you seen the Gambling casinos? They are owned by Injuns and not Dagos. The things that go on out side our gated community are just plain wrong.

Sure you are the exception to the norm. But I still say spoiled. Here is what happens. A wash tub and wash board, gives way to a wringer washer, then to the fancy front load type. The set I purchased for my EX- wife was over $3,000. That was money that I could have given Jesus.

I just received this letter from Terry Bransted, the Republican candidate for Governor of Iowa, who is challenging the current Governor, Democrat Chet Culver.

                        Hey, Friend Johny,

How interesting it was to read that Governor Meat Cleaver has declined your invitation to appear at the Freehold Summer Stoning Festival.

As I mentioned to you over coffee last week, Johny, I really need your endorcement in this campaign. It is going to be brutal. If you could spare time for another visit about the timing and format of your endorcement, just tell me when & where. I'll cancel anything else to meet with you.

Johny, since we are both Republicans and Christians, I cannot understand why you have not done the endorcement already. I know there is this little thing about me being a Catholic, but surely we can get past this for the good of Iowa.

And say, Johny, a special word of thanks for the kind invitation to stop by the Stoning Festival and make campaign remarks. I sincerely appreciate the kind invitation.

Unfortanately, my Campaign Staff has scheduled me elsewhere that day.

Now, do call me soon about the endorcement.

                        Your friend,

I am so excited, on Saturday the shipment of Holy Rocks arrived. Last night I noticed that they had a aura around them, it almost seemed that they glowed in the night air. When the fellas at the Creation lab told me that they had tracked down the actual location of the Burning Bush and Moses, I was a bit skeptical to say the least. Brothers and Sisters what other explanation can there be, they must have come from the actual location!

And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.…
