Okay, so you replace "feet" with "genitals," and then declare the result to be sexually perverse? Why do you always play those word games? Of course, when you change the text like this, the meaning changes. that's why you shouldn't change it. After all, look what would happen if the same logic was applied to the following Passages:

    Matthew 28:9:
And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.

    Luke 7:44-46:
And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.
Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet.
My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment.

    Luke 9:5:
And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.

    Luke 24:39-40:
Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.
And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.

    John 13:5-9:
After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.
Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?
Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.
Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.
Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.

The entire Bible would suddenly be about tallywhackers. This is because changing words changes the meaning of the Passages in which they are included. Please take your ridiculous heresies elsewhere.
    Sweet Lord Jesus,
I want to pray for those who persecute me, my Lord.
Please, treat their children as you treated those of Egypt, when they upset you! (Psalm 135:8-9)
Dash their little children against the stones for their fathers iniquity! (Psalm 137:8-9)
Hit them on the cheek, and smash out their teeth! (Psalm 3:7)
Make their death and descent into Hell swift and terrible! (Psalm 55:15)
Scatter their broken bodies over the streets of their evil cities, like Benghazi, Amsterdam, Tokyo and Mecca! (Psalm 110:6)
    Praised be Your Glorious Name™.

    Amen.

-"And Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the Lord remembered her." (He probably said something like, "Oh yeah, she's the one whose womb I shut up.") And Hannah conceived and "bare a son [Oh boy, another boy!], and called his name Samuel." 1 Samuel 1:19-20

-"And the Lord visited Hannah [again], so that she conceived." Did he get her pregnant in the usual way? 1 Samuel 2:21

-The sons of Eli had sex with women "at the door of the tabernacle." 1 Samuel 2:22

-David kills 200 Philistines and brings their foreskins to Saul to buy his first wife (Saul's daughter Michal). Saul had only asked for 100 foreskins, but David was feeling generous. 1 Samuel 18:25-27

-The priest tells David that he and his men can eat the "hallowed" bread if "they have kept themselves at least from women." David assures the priest that they have and that "the vessels of the young men are holy." So it'd be OK for them to eat the holy bread. 1 Samuel 21:4-5

Sir, those passages are from the New Testament, written in Greek. Foot as a euphemism for genitals is well-known in the language of the Old Testament, Hebrew. http://www.adath-shalom.ca/body_meta...bib_hebrew.htm

          Foot רגל=
is sometimes a euphemism for genitals

Ex. 4:25 Then Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off her son’s , and cast it at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband art thou to me.

“It is clear that Zipporah herself circumcised her son. She then most probably simulated a circumcision of her husband by touching him with his son’s . The mention of feet is no doubt a euphemism.

Ju. 3:24 King James Version 1611 Surely he covereth his feet

Revised Standard Version 1952 He is only relieving himself

          1 Sam.:24:4
          English 24.3
Lit. Saul went in to cover his feet

Revised Standard Version 1952 Saul went in to relieve himself.

Is. 6:2 “feet” in this passage may refers genitals

King James Version 1611 with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet

Is 7:20 hair of feet is euphemism For pubic hair

          NAB Hair between the legs

To cover the feet is the usual euphemism for ing

          Ru. 3:7
It might have meant either that Ruth uncovered his genitals or that she literally uncovered his feet

          See Jerome Biblical Commentary ed. R E Brown, J A Fitzmyer, R E Murphy, Prentice Hall 1968 p 608 section 15.
If Ruth had sex with Boaz while he was drunk, it would be a close parallel to the behaviour of her ancestress (see following). In both cases the imperative to continue the line overcame usual mores.
the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in which Lot dwelt.

30: Now Lot went up out of Zo'ar, and dwelt in the hills with his two daughters, for he was afraid to dwell in Zo'ar; so he dwelt in a cave with his two daughters.
31: And the first-born said to the younger, "Our father is old, and there is not a man on earth to come in to us after the manner of all the earth.
32: Come, let us make our father drink wine, and we will lie with him, that we may preserve offspring through our father."
33: So they made their father drink wine that night; and the first-born went in, and lay with her father; he did not know when she lay down or when she arose.
34: And on the next day, the first-born said to the younger, "Behold, I lay last night with my father; let us make him drink wine tonight also; then you go in and lie with him, that we may preserve offspring through our father."
35: So they made their father drink wine that night also; and the younger arose, and lay with him; and he did not know when she lay down or when she arose.
36: Thus both the daughters of Lot were with child by their father.
37: The first-born bore a son, and called his name Moab; he is the father of the Moabites to this day.
38: The younger also bore a son, and called his name Ben-ammi; he is the father of the Ammonites to this day. Genesis, chapter 19

Just wanted to bring this up, I was reading Proverbs today and the Lord brought me to this verse.

So according to you, every time the OT mentions feet it's talking about a mans testicles. Well explain this verse.

Proverbs 5:3-5 For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil:, But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword. Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell.

So now women have testicles as well? Why do you people have to pervert the word of the Lord? You change words and then call us stupid for not taking your word for it that "that's what the Bible really means". It makes me sad.

Oh and another one, go to the Blue Letter Bible and type in feet. There are 256 verses that contain that word, most of which involve washing a strangers/visitors feet. Are you really going to tell me that ancient Hebrews had some strange habit of washing strangers balls? I think some other culture would have written about that one.

Straw-man argument, ma'am. I never said ALL verses with the word feet refer to genitals. I merely stated it is accepted that feet IS used as a euphemism for it in Hebrew, but of course, it also the word for foot. You have to look in context. Just like the word "know". In the Bible, sometimes that means sex, sometimes it just means knowledge.

And actually, female genitals can be referred to as feet in the Bible, also.

Deuteronomy 28: 57And toward her young one that cometh out from between her feet, and toward her children which she shall bear: for she shall eat them for want of all things secretly in the siege and straitness, wherewith thine enemy shall distress thee in thy gates.

Ezekiel 16:25 25Thou hast built thy high place at every head of the way, and hast made thy beauty to be abhorred, and hast opened thy feet to every one that passed by, and multiplied thy whoredoms.

Then how do you know when feet do mean genitals and when they don't? Now you're just arbitrarily redefining the word "feet" whenever it fits your atheist agenda.

I know atheists aren't the smartest bunch out there, but even you can't be that dense. Have you ever seen a woman giving birth to a child? When she does, the child comes out of her body between her legs in her pubic regions, and thus also between her feet.

Ezekiel 16:25 25Thou hast built thy high place at every head of the way, and hast made thy beauty to be abhorred, and hast opened thy feet to every one that passed by, and multiplied thy whoredoms.
Same here. "Opening your feet" can be considered equivalent to "spreading your legs," engaging in prostitution. It does not imply that feet mean genitals. If it would mean anything else than feet, it would mean legs.

Hit them on the cheek, and smash out their teeth! (Psalm 3:7)
