You might want to read that story again. Jesus could have healed Lazarus, but He didn't. He knew Lazarus was deathly ill, people were coming to Him and saying, "Lazarus will die if you don't do something". What did Jesus do while He knew Lazarus was dying? NOTHING. He sat on His ass for a couple more days, and then, after Lazarus had gone and died (and been buried for four days and was stinking up the joint), Jesus went along, waved His pinky finger or did His little resurrection dance or something (the Bible is unclear on that bit), and Lazarus was brought back to life.

That's a little bit more impressive than just healing him, isn't it?

And why did Jesus wait until His friend Lazarus had died, instead of going along to see him and cure him while he was still alive, sparing His good friend the pain and agony of dying and being buried? So that Jesus could look good to a couple of Jewish chicks:

John 11:4-5 "4 When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby. 5 Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister..."

If Jesus can raise Lazarus from the dead, don't you think curing someone (especially someone who obviously thinks they love Him as much as you do) of a relatively minor condition like dwarfism (compared to being dead for four days, everything is relatively minor) would be a snap?

The only conclusions I can reach here are that either you don't love Him enough for Him to cure you, or the Bible is a bunch of horseshit.

God does things in his own time, and that is why Jesus waited for His time to heal Lazarus, he was with others at the time.

I dont want to be healed, it may surprise you, I am not ill, I am just short, God loves me as I am, I accepted Him as my Savior many years ago, and he has kept me in His care and love. So sad that this site was ever created, hope it gets removed soon.

Someone told her she should have eaten more celery, but I am sure you will know that would not have made the slightest difference, it is something that just happens the same as other disabilities. You know, there's very little support ion the Bible for that idea. Every time God gets upset or wants to reward someone, it is instant. I think that God has mercy on whom He will have mercy and does not hear the prayers of sinners and the plain weird.

I think you may have deluded yourself in this respect. God doesn't like dwarves. If he did like dwarves, He would make them normal... but He doesn't. How many times do we read in the Bible, "And Jesus spake and said unto the man, "Stand up... Oh, thou art standing up... OK "Be six foot two!"" and Lo! the dwarf grew and was whole!"?

God took children and blessed them, he didnt pick out the ones that had no deformities and cast them aside. Zaccheus was a little man, who I believe might have had dwarfism, Jesus went to dine with him. He healed the lame and the sick, Lazarus was healed by Jesus. In Psalm 139 he tells me that I am fearfully and wonderfully made and was knitted together in my mothers womb. Thats enough proof for me. The Lord is MY Shepherd. I pray that you may know the real truth and find the real Jesus who died for all.

Given the fact that Cranky has already proven God hates dwarves with Leviticus, all this would prove, if your interpretation was correct, is that the Bible is internally contradictory, not that God loves you. So what are you, some sort of atheist troll?

I DON'T LIKE MIDGETS BECAUSE:

Most of 'em claim they have a "disability" that keeps them from working, and demand a government handout.

Poppycock! They can:

• Work in a circus freak show
• Fit down a chimney and sweep it
• Fit down a sewer pipe and unblock it
• Run out and clear pins in bowling alleys (saving electricity)
• draw rickshaws of "big spenders" purchases in department stores (improving business)

Basically there's lots of work they could do. But oh no - they prefer to sit on their dainty "oh-help-me, I-can't-lift-it-myself" duffs in their big houses, and drain the public coffers.

You are so funny, but so sad and disgusting. How does one stop dwarfing tell me please. If God wanted me to be any different He would have changed that when I was in my mother's womb, but instead he has given me a good life with a good family and loads of friends, perhaps you dont have that privelege. I have worked from the age of15 until I was retirement age, so think I have done more than enough in the way of work, and am still working now, but voluntarily for a couple of charities.
