Terry Pratchett who wrote a few books about a fantasy world and made loads of money from his gullible readers has given half a million Dollars away for research into his lifestyle illness.

He's obviously destined for Hell so why was his money not given as a Loving Donation to Landover Baptist Church?

Should you wish more confirmation that that given by Sister Talitha, (and I don't know why you should but you seem very petulant today - are the monthlies upon you?) there is also well-known medical evidence to show that Alzheimer's is cause by thinking too much.

The brain fills up with facts and then, as more facts are crammed in newer facts drop out, while the older facts remain more obstinate to remove. This accounts for why (a) Alzheimer's patients can remember things that happened years ago, but not whether they left the stove on and (b) why, because of the Faith of Acceptance, we True Christians do not have to worry about this divine curse - we accept the Bible and do not need to think and argue like you heathens and (c ) why it happens to old people who have spent longer filling up their brains.

Obviously you run an even greater risk of having God curse you with Alzheimer's if you think and write about ungodly things.

Oh, there’s more of this science from Landover Baptisit University Research Labs, but it involves some pretty heavy concepts for a woman – you see a woman’s brain is smaller than a man’s (God didn’t have that much material to use when He made her) but God off-set this by having her think less – this means that both men and women can be cursed by God with Alzheimer’s as their brains can fill up, percentagewise, at the same rate.

Anyway, I see this whole Alzheimer's thing as just another sign of God's Love. After all, Jesus does tell us that unless we become as little children, we shall not enter the Kingdom of Heaven (Matthew 18:3), and now Pratchett has the chance to do just that! Here's hoping his crippling disease makes him forget the fact that he hates God.
