Hi handmaiden, I want to post this picture of Louie Anderson, obviously a True Patriot™ and as it seems an important law person:Originally posted by handmaiden View PostLouie Anderson

P.S. One would hope that the recent spate of celebrity deaths would, at the very least, reinforce the numeral three multiplication times table for children, even if it doesn't push them into the arms of Jesus.

These styles are coming back
Different fabrics or, if the prints are similar, different patterns.
Unfortunately the reemergence of modesty is a sham.
What they call "dowdy" is only to contrast what's worn underneath.

Oh my goodness! Such an overdone, overwrought, raucous display! I will need to retreat to the darkest corner of my prayer closet to soothe my overstimulated eyes.Originally posted by Isabella White View PostI'm with you, dear Sister Handmaiden: I had never heard of this Andre Leon Talley person, either. If only ladies of a certain age would learn from your own tasteful, restrained example, dear Sister Isabella. I daresay that woman's outsized accessories must be crafted from papier mache. If they were made with any heavier substance, I don't think those post-menopausal bones of hers could support the weight.
As for that rather large fellow, I'm dismayed to learn that simply sewing (or hot-gluing) a row of buttons onto a Hefty bag can make one into a "fashion icon."

Frankly, I had no idea who he was and figured it was some random person that The Lord had sent to Hell. But I looked him up and apparently he was a "fashion journalist". Well, this clearly means he was a homer and since the gay community is naturally idolatrous then God didn't just send him Hell, He purposefully sent him to Hell. It's not Jesus' fault if the Gay community doesn't pay attention.
Of course, I take great comfort in God's Mercy and Judgment being at work and all that, but I wish He would take more famous people that I know about. All these niche celebrities dying without my understanding who they are makes me feel very uncomfortable and out of step.

Re: ALL ABOARD - The HELL Train!!
A fellow who participated in that Tuskegee study died at the age of 102.
Now, I hear Black people complain all the time about racism in medicine and how some "innocent" fellows (yeah, right) were deliberately infected with sisyphus or some other sexually transmitted disease. But here is this guy, Charles McGee, who lived to be possibly older than our dear Brother Cranky Old Man.
Well, we should all be so lucky to be injected with something that helps us live that long. Also, since the man's name and the name of the hospital where he worked both end in "Gee", I wonder if he didn't have an unfair advantage.
As we all know, the late Dr. Martin Luther King II believed in equality, not special privileges which let some people have access to medicines that help them live past 100 while other people are forced to take medicines or lose their social media access.
And while we are on the subject, MLK 2.0 would have supported gun rights, because while he was a radical fluffy bunny "Christian" who misconstrued the Bible to say that God hates the rich, he was influenced by it enough to get at least one of two things right. It's like they say about a stopped clock, "It's right at least every other week."

Well I would much rather see our youth (although 34 is stretching it) sacrifice themselves for worthy causes like Operation Iraqi Freedom rather than doing reality TV shows.

Touching upon the prodigious death rate for guests on the shows mentioned in your post, I have to wonder if a keening need for attention (which is the main motivation for appearing on those shows) doesn't drive those sad souls towards self-destructive ends.
If these people were willing to put their minds towards Jesus and let Him take center focus, they may not have met such troublesome fates.

Toole View PostStay strong in faith, Sister. Even if we don't always recognize their names, nor know precisely what they did during their brief, abortive time on Earth, most assuredly God has been keeping track and will likely have sent most of them down to roast in Hell even before we truly grasped their full insignificance in His plan.
'The Bachelorette' contestant Clint Arlis dead at 34, plus more celebs we lost in 2022
What I take from this is thatLex McAllister was a contestant on Jake Pavelka's season of the Bachelor. In February 2016, the 31-year-old died of a drug overdose. The coroner ruled Lex's death as a suicide, and revealed that she died as a result of acute intoxication by the combined effects of amlodipine and acetaminophen.
Julien Hug was a contestant on Jillian Harris's season of the Bachelorette. In 2010, he was found dead in the San Bernardino National Forest in California. His parents revealed that the former contestant struggled with depression and died by suicide.
Gia Allemand was a contestant on Jake Pavelka's season of the Bachelor. At 29-years-old, she tragically died by suicide in 2013.
Erin Storm appeared as a contestant on Matt Grant's season of the Bachelor. Eight years after competing on the show, tragically died in a 2016 private plane crash. She was reportedly the sole occupant of the plane, which crashed shortly after taking off.
Eric Hill tragically died in a paragliding accident before he was set to appear in Andi Dorfman's season of the Bachelorette. The 32-year-old lost his life in 2014 after his parachute partially collapsed.
Michael Nance was a contestant on Emily Maynard's season of the Bachelorette. In August of 2017, Michael was found dead in an Austin, Texas residence. It was later determined that the former contestant died from "multiple drug toxicity," and his death was ruled as an accident.
Christy Caserta appeared on season 15 of the Bachelor, which starred Brad Womack. The former contestant tragically died at the age of 32, after collapsing during a training class in October 2018.
Tyler Gwozdz was a contestant on Hannah Brown's 2019 season of the Bachelorette. He unexpectedly left the show after going on the season's first one-on-one date. The reason for his departure was never revealed. On January 22, 2020, Tyler died after being hospitalized for an accidental heroin overdose, which was later confirmed by the Palm Beach County Medical Examiner.
