Re: Is it ok to wear a Crucifix necklace?
I wear it all the time as a reminder of what our Lord Jesus Christ did for us and how much He loves us....LBC might not say so, but I say go ahead!ACTS 5:29
But Peter and the apostles said in reply, "We must obey God rather than men."

A crucifix necklace?
No True Christian (tm) would wear one. Jesus is risen from the grave, that's the thing that saved you. Not Jesus dieing on the cross.
The cross is empty. Get Jesus off of it.
If you need a necklace to help you feel better about your religion, you should probably get a new one.

Isa:42:8: I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
Mic:5:13: Thy graven images also will I cut off, and thy standing images out of the midst of thee; and thou shalt no more worship the work of thine hands.
So God is quite firm here – he won’t have them around if you are going to give any of His praise you have to them.
Jesus does not mention graven images, therefore we see that he is happy to continue the status quo.
The theological question now becomes, What is “graven” and what is an “image.”
The definitions that follow, thus show that a simple cross, would not be a graven image: no “graving” took place – it would be cast or beaten. So, a simple cross cannot be impugned. A heavily worked one might however be.
Nevertheless, the idolatrous Mary Worshippers, who care nothing for the Word of God, delight in the ostentatious display of Christ in His Agonies upon the cross – and that is a graven image. (def 2 below)
We need not mention, but feel it is our duty so to do, the stench of Satan in the numerous graven images of Mary idols infesting the churches of the vicar of Rome and his business associates.
My authority: 1828 edition of Webster's American Dictionary of the English Language:
GRAVE, v.t. pret. graved; pp. graven or graved. [Gr. to write; originally all writing was graving; Eng. to scrape.]
1. To carve or cut letters or figures on stone or other hard substance, with a chisel or edged tool; to engrave. [The latter word is now more generally used.]
Thou shalt take two onyx-stones and grave on them the names of the children of Israel. Ex.28.
2. To carve; to form or shape by cutting with a chisel; as, to grave an image.
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image. Ex.20.
3. To clean a ship's bottom by burning off filth, grass or other foreign matter, and paying it over with pitch.
4. To entomb. [Unusual.]
GRAVE, v.i. To carve; to write or delineate on hard substances; to practice engraving.
IM'AGE, n. [L. imago.]
1. A representation or similitude of any person or thing, formed of a material substance; as an image wrought out of stone, wood or wax.
Whose is this image and superscription? Matt.22.
2. A statue.
3. An idol; the representation of any person or thing, that is an object of worship. The second commandment forbids the worship of images.
4. The likeness of any thing on canvas; a picture; a resemblance painted.
5. Any copy, representation or likeness.
The child is the image of its mother.
6. Semblance; show; appearance.
The face of things a frightful image bears.
7. An idea; a representation of any thing to the mind; a conception; a picture drawn by fancy.
Can we conceive
Image of aught delightful, soft or great?
8. In rhetoric, a lively description of any thing in discourse, which presents a kind of picture to the mind.
9. In optics, the figure of any object, made by rays of light proceeding from the several points of it. Thus a mirror reflects the image of a person standing before it, as does water in a vessel or stream, when undisturbed.

Of course, crucifixes are out. I'd like to mention that, when considering jewelry in general, it should not be made of gold or (for women) pearls:
Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel 1 Peter 3:3
In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array 1 Timothy 2:9
This is the rule since the time of Jesus, of course--gold jewelry was perfectly acceptible in the time of the Old Testament:
As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover upon an obedient ear. Proverbs 25:12
Pour out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not, and upon the families that call not on thy name.... Jeremiah 10:25

We don't need to wear a cross to let people know we are True Christians(tm). People can tell us from miles away.
Most of us can't even fake sinning well. Our actions give us away.
James 2:18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
I don't need to wear a cross to remind me, or to let anyone else know that I'm a True Christian (tm). People know the minute they meet me. Would they know the same about you if you weren't wearing a cross?
