He might not been there but on the other hand maybe you haven't been there either Wide-Open. I on the other hand live in Belgium and know it's real enough. Mhhh, all this makes me wonder why you people are so eager to claim that Belgium isn't real, is there any apparent reason for this??

Your logic is somewhat broken on this one. Why should anyone think that Belgian exists? We have been through this time and time again. People think that they have read something about it; others think that some newsworthy story happened there, etc. etc.

I have been told (and I have no proof for this) that the idea that there was a country called The Kingdom of The Belgs was invented as an April Fool's joke sometime in the early 19th century.

In reality, it is like "Ruritania" or "Rumbawe"- it sounds like it might be a country, and people think that it is!

So, I think the question that you meant to ask was, "Why have I been fooled by the media into believing Belgia is a country?"

Well, the answer is that several people are fooled each week, and you just happen to be amongst them.
