    One such is the state of The Church in France.

    No Ordinary Joy The charismatic renewal is one of the strongest forces for the Catholic Church in France, and one of the primary engines of the new evangelization. This article provides an overview of the charismatic movement in France, and discusses the historical origins of the movement worldwide.

    Celine, a student of journalism at the University of Paris, declines an invitation to have dinner and drinks with some friends. As she explains with a somewhat mischievous smile, tonight she has a "rendezvous with Jesus." Every Wednesday after her classes, she goes to a little church near the Seine to meet with other members of a charismatic prayer group. "I've been going for three years now, to give thanks to God for the life He has given me and for His presence, which is with me every day," she says.

    As night falls on the city, those who pass by Celine's church seem quite surprised to hear the buoyant melodies, the beat of tom-toms, and clapping, as music rises from their neighborhood church. About 50 young people sing psalms, share spontaneous prayers, or read from random Scripture passages. Even their physical posture is a bit unusual — palms raised toward the sky, arms constantly waving. One might think a band of evangelical Christians had somehow taken over the parish hall. Or is it just a little party of overzealous eccentrics?

    In fact, it's neither. Small groups like this are part of the charismatic renewal that is today one of the strongest forces for the Catholic Church in France

      Mr. Fag;

      First of all, the Catholic Church in France is waaaay behind the curve. The "Charismatic Catholic" Trend swept through America in the late 1970s. A few discerning participants realized that Christ, not Catholicism, was the point and left the Catholic Church behind to join real Christian churches.

      Second of all, speaking of discernment, this thread is dedicated to discussing Donald Trump and HIS gift of discernment. Why are you going about religious matters in France? Does anything that you have to say even pertain to Donald Trump? Please remember where you are-- This is The Landover Baptist Church website: Donald Trump is kind of a key figure around here.

      Try going to a Muslim site and leaving Mohammed out of the discussion.
      His left hand should be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me.

        Trump is putting tariffs on anyone and everyone he dislikes. Most recently it is on countries doing business with Iran.

        Today I sent a suggestion to him. It is to put a tariff on the Catholic Church and on all its members. A tariff fee on every Catholic and Catholic Church will make the point he is serious about being a Baptist.

        Trump puts tariff on Iran's trading partners amid wave of protests
        Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

          The Fag fellow must be talking about Santo Daime cult (although Catholicism is all a cult). These foreigners pretending to commune with God are all high on the wacky baccy.
