Government Paying $35 Million For Christian Theme Park!

While they tend to be a little liberal for my tastes, the Answers in Genesis people have just announced that "Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear today joined the Ark Encounter LLC to announce the planned construction of a full-scale Noah’s Ark tourist attraction in northern Kentucky." Reports vary on the cost, but it seems that the Kentucky government is going to commit $35 million dollars of public money to the project.

At least there is one Godly state left that knows that there is no such thing as "separation of church and state" in the constitution!!
    Yours In Christ,

Also, that's $35 million that won't be available for useless socialistic earmarks. Starve the beast!

Glory! About time the government stopped wasting money on useless special interest projects that only benefit a select few. This creationists amusement park is something every REAL Kentuckian (as in Christian fundamentalist) can enjoy.

Time to reclaim our FREEDOM from the “Mullah in Chief” and his growing activist voter hoards of socialists, communists, anti-Semites, anti-Christians, atheists, radical gays and lesbians, feminists, illegal immigrants, Muslims, anti-Anglo whites and others.

Ah that'll make the trip to Kentucky worth it. I've been meaning to visit the Creation Museum, but due to the distance I couldn't justify going to that alone and I've had to stick to Natural History instead

With this attraction nearby it'll be a lovely weekend adventure.

I hope as part of the admission, they will require everyone to recite verse from the KJV Bible and be Baptized. This includes employees. We would not want the Unsaved(c) getting in.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

If they're smart they'll make the ticket price high and give the money to Jesus! HE needs all the money He can get, these days. I'd probably be willing to pay 40$ to visit Noah's Ark. I hope the food isn't too expensive, though.
May you be a blessing to every life you touch.

Re: Government Paying $35 Million For Christian Theme Park!

They're going to have a life-size Ark too! Wouldn't it be great if they could round up two of every animal on Earth and put them on the ark? It would be the greatest zoo in the world. It would also shut up the naysayers and skeptics that say it's impossible to fit all these animals on an ark that size and to feed and care for them for 40 days. Oh yeah? You just wait and see how possible it is, atheists!

I also hope they don't sugarcoat the Ark story. Remember that God killed the entire world (every man, woman, child and pet dog) because he was angry that the world was wicked. I'm hoping to see some animatronic people drowning and gasping for air as the ocean swallows them whole. We need to make an impact on people and learn to fear God again!

Finally, I'm absolutely thrilled that our tax dollars are not being wasted on frivolous endeavours like teaching our kids nonsense about evolution or a round Earth, but giving the public a real education in both science and religion. Thank God that Jesus won the hearts of Kentucky, because they could've easily pissed that $35 million away...health insurance for poor kids, green energy public transportation, building more secular universities and schools to brainwash our kids, etc.

Kentuckians must understand that if we pour our money into God's coffer we don't have to worry about things like education, health care, infrastructure, energy, law enforcement, public safety, or even funding our own wars! If we give our money to God, He will take care of those bothersome things for us!
