By the way God tells us that slavery is ok:

Exodus 22:3

Let's look at the Bible together. We have:

The history behind this was that, living in the area promised to the Israelites, were the Canaanite clans - Sidon, Hittites, Jebusites, Amorites, Girgashites, Hivites, Arkites, Sinites, Arvadites, Zemarites and Hamathites. A vital, very often overlooked point of the struggle for the land is that the earth belongs to God. He created it, He owns it, He decides what He wants to do with it. It is His property. Although others may have been allowed to live in the land before the arrival of the Israelites, God has owned the land right from the time of Creation before any humans even existed.

Now, you cannot help but see that when times for True Christians(tm) (the early Baptists) became hard in the late 1500s/early 1600s, God made the same promise to them. He gave them a land that he had allowed the redskins to occupy for a while without praising Him. He then, rightfully, evicted them and gave the land - America - to the superior white man.

Now, if you keep your word (not that you will you little liar! ) you must now believe us.

We'll obviously have to take a look at it. Any transfer of Syrian weapons to international control would obviously be a positive development, but we have been highly skeptical of the statements out of the Syrian government on chemical weapons to date. They have not even declared their chemical weapons stockpiles. They've used chemical weapons in violation of international prohibitions. So we'd be very skeptical, and we'd want to make sure that there was a verification mechanism to make sure that they're following through on any commitment they make.

Typical of the August Obama - over reaching his powers by forcing Congress to vote on a resolution and then negotiating with our enemies like an Englishman with a new white flag!
