I read this in the "Agreement" when I signed up and almost laughed my ass off

They need to "attempt" a little harder.
Proof? How is that proof? If I write down "Screwdrivers are holy, ye shall worship them for a ticket to eternal life", then I can point at it and say it is fact because it was written down. Then of someone finds it under a grave marker 200 years from now, they will start to worship screwdrivers because they were told they were holy? What you are talking about is NO DIFFERENT, but mine sounds stupid because you know better. YOU should know better too.

Genesis 2:17 But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Genesis 3:4 and 5 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods (plural mind you), knowing good and evil.
Genesis 3:22 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil, and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever.
First off, it wasn't the serpent that lied, and neither Adam nor Eve died "in the day that thou eatest thereof" and then God agreed with the serpent when he spoke to the rest of the pantheon, and before you start spewing again, WHO is he talking to in G 3:22??? He said one of US, explain this to me, because I would LOVE to hear it.
One problem you all have is that you think God sent the bible by way of fax machine, it was stories passed down the generations till someone knew how to read and write. There isn't a book written by someone who actually LIVED the experience. Tell me how we know what happened in Pontius Pilate's court? Do you think they gave interviews afterward? Are you all that gulable? The bible is a book of STORIES about people wrestling with morals just like we do today. Before the New Testement, there were sacrifices like crazy, but if God knew that Jesus was coming, then why do this? And for that matter, if God knows EVERYTHING that will happen, then what is the point of it all? Is he just BORED, is he just pathetic and needs to play with peoples lives for entertainment? If you believe that, then your fate then is already sealed, you have NO choices, so I guess I should just pitty you.
