As someone who used to listen to this group when I was younger and unsaved..

I have to disagree with the OP this band has a huge religious undertone are they a christan band no they are not. but many of there songs deal with Jesus or God in one way or the other normally praising God.

listen to there songs Bartender,EH Hee, Time Bomb and I could go on.

They have a song called "Minarets". A minaret is something Muslim. They are obviously trying to push forward an agenda to kill God. Matthews even once dreamed that he killed God, and then wrote a song about it. (Un-cleverly titled "Dreamed I Killed God.")

He even had the NERVE to call one of his songs "Lying in the Hands of God."

This fellow is not to be trusted, at all. I was tempted by his music when I was in college, mostly due to the fact that I foolishly wanted to fit in and was tempted into sin by fornicating with young women who smelled of patchouli and listened to this garbage. Thankfully, I am now saved.

I did some Jesus empowered research on THE Dave Matthews Band. This band brings young folk to the point of merely asking for a pm to get sum. I was appalled when I read this on their devil forums. Then they have the audacity to go on about some disgusting song called MacHead? A combination of Eternal Sinner (but thuper cute) Paul McCartney and Radiohead. These 'Ants' as they are called are supremely evil beings.
However, I am saved, thank ya jezuz. I stick with the lord's iPod of Nickelback and Creed.

And about Dave Mathews Band, I feel bad saying this, but I have been to a Concert of theirs. It was a terrible site. There were underage childred grinding up against each other. And tons of underage drinking. I will never see them again.

Prompted by Rev Lebowski's insightful comments in this thread, I have done a careful analysis of the Dave Matthews Band's latest album cover. I have discovered that they are evil fascists in league with Satan; secret Muslims who hate all prayer to ANY God; and they love to perform oral sex on each other (or anything else, for that matter) in an attempt to destroy the Holy Trinity, whom they fear above all others. And they accuse the KKK of being a bunch of idiots all drunk on Big Whiskey! Want proof? It's all there on their cover! A picture is worth 1,000 words. Here is the result of my analysis:

I rarely listen to music these days, but your attempt to judge me as a fan of band I had never even thought to listen to astounds me. This was simply the first thread that was topped in this section of the website and was quite surprised with what I found. You all twist what the bible says to prove your own points, yet discredit several accounts where it would shoot down your argument. If you know anything of history, the times in which the Old Testament was written consisted of people telling stories in grand fashion, not a literal one like the New Testament's time period. No doubt did these things happen, but a literal read of the bible in that context makes you no less radical than the Taliban or other Islamic groups. It's actually quite frightening

I agree with everything this man has said. This isn't a forum for Christianity, it's a forum for judging people who don't think exactly like you, and everyone elses opinion seems to be wrong.
