The essence of your question is flawed. Adam (and therefore Eve being part of him) were, like the animals, in Eden immortal. Their relationship with God was as friends to a pleasant Uncle. We can see this as Adam speaks to God quite happily and does odd jobs for Him.

Often, the ignorant claim that at the time of Eden, God was omniscient: this is not so, for did He not ask,

Gen. 3:9 But the LORD God called to the man, "Where are you?"?

Looking further in the Old Testament we see, Psalm 139:2-6 but in this, the writer gives some attributes but not a knowledge of the future.

You see, He didn’t need to know everything when the only 2 people upon the earth were in Eden; it isn’t until much later that He had to know this.

Joh:16:30: Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.

Well, apparently God wanted to test us, and give us a free choice between Good and Evil. Therefore He created the Tree. Is that so hard to comprehend?

And by the way, do not forget that it was Satan, who had rebelled to God, who seduced Eve in the first place!
          Sweet Lord Jesus,
I want to pray for those who persecute me, my Lord.
Please, treat their children as you treated those of Egypt, when they upset you! (Psalm 135:8-9)
Dash their little children against the stones for their fathers iniquity! (Psalm 137:8-9)
Hit them on the cheek, and smash out their teeth! (Psalm 3:7)
Make their death and descent into Hell swift and terrible! (Psalm 55:15)
Scatter their broken bodies over the streets of their evil cities, like Benghazi, Amsterdam, Tokyo and Mecca! (Psalm 110:6)
          Praised be Your Glorious Name™.

          Amen.
