"Redskins" Is Offensive Now?

CNN is trying to explain, but I'm not sure I understand:

In a decision released Wednesday, the office's Trademark Trial and Appeal Board ruled that "these registrations must be canceled because they were disparaging to Native Americans."

I don't understand. Indians have red skin. Why is that offensive? I don't mind being called a lady, because that's what I am. If someone says I have fair, flawless skin, I don't cry and try to sue them. Because it's true. Just like Indians and their red skin.

Can someone please explain?

This is clearly the work of insidious liberals who never rest at trying to undermine every great American institution.

I wouldn't be surprised if they named the team the Washington Gays. As for me, I'll continue to root for my beloved Patriots, who have the most Godly name in football. (Not the Saints, who are named after cathylick idols.)

So what are they supposed to call themselves? The Washington Native Americans? Because that term discriminates against all other Americans, by which I mean Real Americans, good folk who were born in the USA and are therefore "native" to the country.

What I want to know is....where the hell did they come from in the first place (and in such abundance)? I know the beaners jump the border, so they're from Mexico. They call themselves Indians but I've yet to see a dothead flail around with dead birds on their heads.

Seriously, it's like they just popped out of thin air! I think it's shameful we honor them with an AMERICAN football team (when we have no idea where they originated) and they stab us right in the back.
