Can you tell me which part of Luke that you selected you interpret as referencing "only looking at the pieces of the Bible that they like" ?

Upon further inspection you can see that Luke 14:33, it is written "So likewise, whosoever he be of you that oforsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple." This can be interpreted to say that Jesus will not accept those that aren't willing to give up absolutely everything for Him, are unworthy to be His disciple. In other words, those that only view the pieces of the Bible that they can follow without much additional effort, are not worthy to be His disciple.

Now, getting back to your introduction (and I do hope a Moderator will split this off into a thread for you) -- Who are you? Why are you here? And what does it mean for someone to "green apple" you, as you so vigorously demand?

It brings many images to mind, precious few of them appropriate to a Christian church's discussion forum.

I always teach the children that they should not behave like uppity whores if they don't want to burn in Hell. When a Christian tells you to use more scripture, you need to use more scripture, not talk back to them. As talking back to them makes you their enemy and thereby Jesus' enemy (Matthew 12:30). So next time you talk to someone, stop wasting time with your insignificant opinions, and tell everyone how they should please Jesus! And use scripture since your own words don't matter at all.

2nd Timothy 4:1-2 "I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine."

I was never told to use more scripture. I was told to do the same thing twice but I didn't want to seem like I was spamming so I refrained. I have yet to state any opinions and have been doing nothing except quoting the Bible. I am only doing what you people ask of me. I apologize if you find my answers unsatisfactory.

If you are asked twice to show how much you love Jesus, you do it twice. If you are asked a thousand times to show how much you love Jesus, you do it a thousand times. And then you do it again and again because you love Jesus so much.

Loving Jesus means obeying His every command: John 14:15 "If ye love me, keep my commandments." This, of course, includes commands given to you in His name. So stop being lazy and start spreading His scripture around as if your life depended on it. Because it does.
