I have been reading my Bible all day today. In particular, passages about hypocrites, false prophets, and pharisees.
And I hope it makes your head swell thinking you have the power to scare me with thoughts of being the recipient of Satan's penis or an FBI raid. Neither will ever happen.

If you have been reading your Bible all day you would know that because you violate secular laws, you are damned to Hell. If you think that there are any Biblical verses that directly support smoking marijuana, I would suggest you post them.

I just want to say thank you to Brother Lazarus for returning a composed and reasonable reply. I apologize for letting my personal feelings get in the way in my post. I should have just focused on the topic at hand, and I will not step out of line again. But regarding the post of Mr. Bathwater, there are a few inaccuracies/false assumptions that I should clear up.
He posts, "Hold on there boy, you’re suggesting there are two sets of people in the world who react differently to dope? One chemical, One subject, 2 distinct reactions? How much did you fail basic science by?"
He fails to realize that while there is but one chemical (THC), there are billions of subjects (not one) that are capable of producing billions of reactions...There are people who use marijuana and people that get used by marijuana. The difference is in one's mindset and willpower. And regarding the "How much did you fail basic science by?" comment, I graduated with honors with a Bachelor's degree in pre-professional biology and am currently working on my doctorate degree.
He posts, "but you’ll be doing it whilst thinking that the phrase “A squirrel on a long road” is the most hysterically funny thing you’ve ever heard."
The only thing that I think is funny about that is that you actually used the word "whilst." There are responsible adults who use marijuana in a mature way that does not involve laughing about squirrels.
He posts, "Infant baptism is NOT baptism."
I was not baptized as an infant. I was saved at age 7, and, according to the Bible, I was baptized at age 9 in order to be "buried with him by baptism into death." Romans 6:4
I am just trying to help someone that had a question on this forum. I don't mean to offend anyone, just maybe cast something in a different light.

Please do NOT criticize Brother Bathfire. Brother Bathfire is probably the most gifted expert on the Bible here at Landover. Argue scripture with him and you will be embarrassed. If you do choose to challenge Brother Bathfire, you must understand that the only scripture that will be considered is that from the KJV 1611.

(Revelations 22:1-2) A gift from God.
<h4>How was cannabis used in Biblical times and lands?</h4> Cannabis was used 12 ways: clothing, paper, cord, sails, fishnet, oil, sealant, incense, food, and in ceremony, relaxation and medicine. For so the Lord said unto me, "I will take my rest and I will consider in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs. For afore harvest, when the bud is perfect and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks and take away and cut down the branches." (Isaiah 18:4-5)

<h4>Does the Bible discuss drugs?</h4> Alcohol is the only drug openly discussed in the Bible, so it must serve as our reference. Wine is drunk during religious occasions such as Passover &emdash; the Last Supper of Jesus and His disciples. It remains a sacrament in modern church services.
Jesus began his public life by miraculously turning water into wine at the Wedding at Cana (John 2:1-10) when the reception ran out. The Bible distinguishes between use and misuse. It says, Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts. (Proverbs 31:6-7) but Woe unto them that … follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them! (Isaiah 5:10)
Yet the simple joys of drinking were also sung. He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth; And wine that maketh glad the heart of man and oil to make his face to shineth. (Psalm 104:14-15)
