      I admit that I do not know the scriptures as well as you TCs do, which is why I am here, but what scripture actually states using your left hand is sinful? I would like to know before I try to change the dominant half of the God given brain that I was born with.....

            "Twisting I out of context" may have been a phrase Satan liked to use but it is an ACTION that ALL christians and other religious people like to do so stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

                Nah, the (KJV 1611) Bible is pretty clear it has to be taken literally and should not be twistered or interpreted in any way. Proof:

                Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

                Deuteronomy 12:32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

                Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

                Proverbs 30:6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

                Matthew 4:4 Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

                Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

                    We do not twist the Bible. It literally tells us exactly how to interpret is (as in: don't add your own interpretation to it).

                    You would probably laugh at the notion of letting violent criminals decide which laws of man they should follow.

                        Pointing out the fact that he was taking quotes was not an insult I was simply astounded that he tried to show that christians do not take things out of context by writing down quotes out of context. Surely you see the paradox here!

                              Because they were just there on the page with nothing surrounding them. I was given no context thus I am LEFT with the assumption that it is out of context.

                              Has anyone here heard the song god thinks by Voltaire I agree with it's message. If there is a god (I highly doubt there is) he/she/it probably hates all religions.
