I say you are a total bully and dickhead. Nobody has the right to hit a woman. I feel lke punching you in the face and hitting you to see what its like.
Violence and name calling is not the answer. When you grow up and move out of your parents house, please come back and talk to us.
Friends, I come here asking your advice in a spirit of Christ-like humility. I feat that, in the last few days, I may have grievously sinned against the Lord and male property rights, and my soul is troubled.
Recently, I've been spending a lot of time unchaperoned with a certain young lady. Of course, we haven't actually indulged in any lustful or lascivious acts together (thank you Jesus), but only those activities which it is proper for a young man and woman to perform together: sitting around while she scrubs my floors, washes my clothes, polishes my Bible, and so on. However, a few days ago, she burnt my steak, and in response...well, I behaved as any passionate red-blooded heterosexual man would do.
My question is: have I gone too far too fast? I know that the sacred responsibility of disciplining a woman is one of the most vital aspects of the Godly Institution of Matrimony, and to engage in this very special act with a woman I'm not actually married to just feels...wrong, really. As an unmarried woman, the young lady I beat senseless is still the property of her father, and to have damaged another Christian man's property...well, it doesn't feel good, I tell you that. So, friends, tell me honestly: by giving a black eye to a woman who doesn't belong to me, have I offended God?
You feel badly just because you hit a woman.
You should never treat woman like that.
If you belive it or not, women are people too.
You treat them with respect and they will respect you

Your not married, are you. Of course you have to hit a woman, the same as you have to hit a dog, it's the only way they will learn. If I didn't hit my wife on a regular basis, she would fall into slothfulness and I would end up with dirty stupid sons, a filthy house and no dinner on my table.
We all have rolls to follow in this world, mine is to lead my family to a righteous afterlife, hers is to obey my commands.
There is never a right time to beat a woman, or anyone for that matter. We are all people, and are thus all on the same biological and mental level. Anyone who does said beating should be tried and convicted for assault, no exceptions.

Then according to your logic God Himself should be tried and convicted. Proverbs 13:24 "He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes."
To most "Christians" The Bible is like a license agreement. They just scroll to the bottom and click "I agree". All those "Christians" will burn in Hell! James 2:10 "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."

Technically, God could be tried in absentee...and it would be a pretty quick conviction, if it wasn't for the problem that the bible wouldn't be accepted as evidence in any court; fairy tales generally aren't.

According to the Bible, women are our property. We buy them from their fathers and they are to cook and clean and birth/raise soldiers for Christ.
Genesis 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
Exodus 20:17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
Proverbs 31 gives us a list of what we are to look for in a good woman.
1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
Ephesians 5:22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
I don't understand why there's even a debate about this.
It is NEVER ok to beat a woman you sexist pigs. Women, along with any other human being do not disturb to be hit. I hope your wives or daughters, or whoever you beat report you and you spend the rest of your lives in prison, where men will rape you. Oh wait, they won't rape you, because rape is a figment of our imaginations right? And you will have seduced them and asked for it right?

My wife is on these boards, in fact she's the person who introduced me to Landover, perhaps you should ask her. She is a Godly wife, although a little head strong at times. Our marriage is none of your business.

That's ok, it's your marriage. But still, you do not have ANY right to beat your wife, or any other woman. Or any other living thing for that matter. Have you ever hit your wife, may I ask?
I follow and love God, but if anyone were to hit me, there is no way I would happily accept it and go on. I would say something, and stand up for myself. Sure, a woman should look after her husband, but a husband should look after his wife, and never ever harm her.
*And in my earlier post, I meant to say 'deserve' not 'disturb', I only just noticed this, my apologies.

Yes, I correct her when she's wrong. Some busy body convinced her to leave me last month, fortunately the good people on this board talked some sense into her.
I told you, she's strong headed. I made the mistake of waiting to marry and not marrying a younger more trainable wife. So yes, there has been a fair amount of correction through the years.
Women are like children, if you spare the rod they become spoiled.

Trainable? You disgust me. Women are not meant to be 'trained'. It's ashame she was convinced to stay with you, if you abuse her and hurt her. Again, there's something wrong with this cult of archaic people. I'm just posting my own opinion, and I believe it is incredibly wrong to physically or emotionally harm another one intentionally.
I hope one day she hits you back, for that is what I would do if my boyfriend ever dared to hit me.
