so when i took my wedding vows " IN A CHURCH " may I add ........
the vows were not love honour and obey ...................
and if it was they vows i took that would mean it is alright for the wifes to beat up their men also .

If you spoke proper English you would understand that mate also means friend. When I say 'mate' I only intend to mean friend, and why do you assume I meant what I said in a bad way? I might not have been being sarcastic.

I can assure you, the word "mate" when used in It's right and proper AMERICAN ENGLISH is not used instead of the word "friend".

Without meaning to offend anyone here, I thus offer a warning to any with frail sensibilities, it can be spiritually edifying to have the woman set herself upon hands and knees.
thus she is entered in a way that reminds both parties they are involved in a basically animal persuit necessary to procreate soldiers for the Lord.
Thus, they are dissuaded from high minded or distractingly fanciful attitudes to what they are about.
