It's true that the wife must submit herself to her husband (and keeper) but if she misbehaves, she should not be spanked. The Holy Bible is clear about which forms of punishment are acceptable. The husband can excommunicate her, stone her or whip her but he may NOT spank her.

Nothing shows love like a swift spanking. I didn't think the rest of the verse was necessary to make my point. What makes you think that you don't love someone when you spank them!

The only way that spanking is an expression of love is if you're both slightly kinky. Otherwise, it's just abuse.

As I said before, this is a perverse interpretation. Those verses do not mention spanking. In fact, the Holy Bible does not indicate that spanking is an appropriate form of punishment.

There are several verses in the Holy Bible which grant us permission to spank those who report to us. Therefore, for example, in certain circumstances it might be permissible to spank an alter boy (or girl) in accordance with the teachings in the Bible. However, only those who misinterpret the Bible in the most perverse ways would advocate or condone spanking a woman.

Well the bible was written a long time ago. When times were different, that scripture is old now, outdated. Do you not think that everything would be a lot easier if everyone were considered and treated as equal. The world has moved on since when that was written women vote, are supposed to get equal pay etc......
