In the very beginning of the New Testament it says, "The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham." (Matt. 1:1). And whi was Abraham? The first Hebrew who God changed his name to Abraham the Hebrew.

Of course, dear. Now, we both agree that Jesus is a descendant of David, right? (Even though the only genealogies included in the Gospels are those of Joseph, not Mary, and Joseph was not involved in Jesus' genetic makeup, the fact that Matthew and Luke decided that Joseph's genealogy counts as Jesus' genealogy, means that it is OK).

So, let's look at what the Holy Bible says about the appearance of David:

1 Samuel 17:42 And when the Philistine looked about, and saw David, he disdained him: for he was but a youth, and ruddy, and of a fair countenance.

It says it right there: ruddy and with fair skin.

If Jesus was not Jewish then why would he pray to the father in synagogues and read the from Isaiah in (Luke 4:15-17) (which is a part of the Torah and bible). Jesus goes to the synagogues and preaches to his people.

Yes, but the Jews didn't want to change and killed Him.

Everyone is made in his image and likeness and should be treated with human respect. That doesn't mean we have to agree with their beliefs, but it does mean they are children of God and should be treated as such.

Have you not seen how many people have been reached? So many people are turning away their game systems and boycotting gaming producers that they will have no choice but to repent soon! Then, instead of wasting their time in their mother's basements, gamers and game creators will be reading the Holy Bible and learning the value of fear and obedience unto the LORD! It won't be long before this nation is a Godly City on Top of a Hill again!

Hello, I am a fellow Christian and I play Overwatch, and I actually know the lore of the game, while you guys clearly do not.

First of all, by saying that Reaper is the only true hero and is Christ-like and is the only one you should like, you're entirely wrong. Reaper is meant to be the exact opposite of that, and if you think he's Christ-like, I'm sorry to say, but you may be a Satanist. (I'm judging everything off of your crazy logic by the way and my knowledge of the game.)


Secondly, are you sure 'unsaved are welcome' to the forum? Because judging by the banning you guys have been doing you certainly do not welcome them and are being very ignorant.


Third of all, I saw a very terrible post of one of your official members, saying Jesus was not a Jew, when infact, he was, and you are then later racist to all Jews and include a rather hurtful picture to the Jews out there, seeing as how you guys hate Jews a whole bunch and love the character that is most resembling Satanism, ((Reaper (Even though he is far from it)) I ask you this: When are you gonna start posting about how great Hitler was? Reaper isn't a Christian, Hitler wasn't a Christian, you guys hate Jews and think they're beneath you, Hitler hated Jews and thought they were beneath him.


Thirdly, dismissing Winston simply because Winston is an anagram for 'Sin town'? You do know what your last name is an anagram for right? And there were many great people in history who had the name Winston, like Winston Churchill, who protected the UK from the great menace of Nazi Germany, which held many Christians, which he was quite fond of. Winston also does not promote evolution, none of the game does.

You all just need to sit down and pay attention to what this guy is saying. He is a crazy man who has done no true research on the topic and is basing this all on what he thinks is correct in the game and then decided to destroy his sons computer with MAGNETS. I have never heard of a worse parent and I feel that his son probably hates him since Overwatch is a great game that helps people learn strategy and teamwork. And true a character is lesbian and that was made official a little over a day ago. Even then who cares, it's not like anyone will listen to the bisexual atheist who wants to prove a point to you extremists who are no better than Islamic extremists outlined by one of the FALSE character bios that this man had put.

"Teamwork and strategy"? Is that what it teaches? Well, it certainly doesn't teach comprehensive writing skills. And based on what its adherents have been posting it, it doesn't teach reading comprehension, either.


It doesn't instill maturity, the ability to accept differing ideas, focus on a single topic, or even the ability to recognize the actual topic of concern.


The posters here don't know how to follow the simplest of directions, i.e. Read the Bible, and they insist on trying to impose their rules on our game. "Prove your point without referring to the Bible", they keep repeating, ignoring the fact that this is a Bible discussion forum.


Even if I had no knowledge of or feelings for the Bible, or Jesus etc., I would worry about the effect that this game has on people's intellect and emotional development. The Overwatch devotees posting here demonstrate all sorts of unfortunate character traits and the only reason that I am NOT worried about the trouble that they could cause in the world is that interacting with the world beyond their gaming systems would require far too much effort for their feeble minds and bodies.


The only substantive difference between the gamer personality and heroin addicts is that heroin is illegal. There are physical risks and high financial costs associated with obtaining one's heroin fix.


Playing on-line games requires no physical effort, and the monetary costs are usually borne by the enabling parents who comfort themselves with the delusional thought that at least my kid's not out there, on the streets, getting into trouble.
