KJV is the only source of the word of God. There is not mention of sin in that part.

My version is the Geneva Version, Printed in 1560, while the King James Version was printed in 1611, So does that mean it's closer to the source material?

What I don't understand is, why do you think that calling people fools is a sin?

After all, Jesus called people not only fools (Mat. 23:17, Luke 12:20, Mat.23:19, Luke 11:40, 24:25) but also dogs (Matt. 7:6), swine (Mat 7:6), vipers (Matt. 3:7, Matt. 12:34, 23:33, Luke 3:7), perverse (Mat. 17:17, Luke 9:41), and many other names.

Please help me understand: what's wrong with calling a fool, a fool?

Little bug, don't you think that some of your behavior here has been a wee bit childish? Tattling on Basilissa, not abiding by the rules of the game, saying unkind things about us, when you are a guest on our forum?


Furthermore, Brother Pendergast is a True Christian(tm) who would never dream of disobeying Jesus by attacking another member of the Body of Christ.

You see, it's very important to remember that Jesus was speaking directly to His disciples, here. He's not telling His posse to go 'round to all the clubs in the 'hood and love everybody, but He is quite clear that His followers are to love one another.
