I just read the review and I agree with Jim the reviewer. It's terrible that young children are allowed to get their hands on this stuff. At the very least these game systems should be made with fingerprinting technology and more parental blocks so only the adults can truly regulate and restrict these games...

Better yet burn them all because all they do is make kids' brains into mush!

Dear Jim,

I know that Fallout 3 is all the things you described in your little rant: violent, satanic, inappropriate for the kiddies, and encourages "school shootings"--but honestly, what DOESN'T encourage violence in today's society? Movies, music, and the media are the main bad influences, and you can't hide a child from these things; it's impossible. I disagree with allowing someone younger than ten to play Fallout, for it is rated M for a reason. Plenty of games, such as Resident Evil 5, are extremely violent (severed body parts flying, blood splatter, etc).

Grand Theft Auto 4, which is perhaps one of the most popular games available for the next gen platform, includes hookers, drug dealers, car theft, murdering, and countless of illegal acts. What, does it mean that a kid's going to steal a car the next day after playing Grand Theft Auto? No, it doesn't. The same goes for Fallout 3 and every other game...

So, what I'm trying to say is this: Fallout 3 is no different than any other rated M game, and no matter what you say, people are going to buy it, rent it, and play it. It's a very enjoyable game, and I'm not a violent or sadistic person in the least. In fact, I'm quite sensitive.

If you wish to go on a rant, then rant about music videos and religion in third world countries. This isn't the worst thing out there.

Violence isn't the issue friend, Jesus wants His Godly wars waged. It is the kind of violence that is unacceptable. Cruising for snuff victims like you do in Fallout 3 is hardly the same as as the best selling JesusOS title Retribution were you play a pastor going into a Left Coast city with a shotgun and trunk full of Bibles. Yes both games feature transvestite whores being murdered and their bodies carved up but in Retribution it is accurate simulation of the kind of situation a street pastor faces every day.
