You don't think things through, do you? It's an evil influence on children. It teaches kids that its okay to murder, steal, cannibalize, maim, disrespect others, etc. It also makes certain kids viable to commit mass murders and school shootings. Plus the video game violates the Bible. Case closed.

You have to be a little (understatement) mental before you act on anything you see in a game, or any violent TV show or movie.

No, you are the one who is ignorant. First off, you think that they rated it M then it's not for kids. Actually, the opposite is true: Kids are attracted to M-rated games. They want to be "older". They want to see the "big kid" stuff.

You also show your ignorance by saying "any parent would refuse it". First off, not all parents are the same. Some just don't care about their kids' welfare and would let them play it. Second, who is to say a kid can't bypass his parents and acquire the game himself, either through purchasing, getting hacked copies, or playing at a friend's house.

My last point I want to bring up is, if you happen to have bother reading the thread you would see we had several boys (yes, children) who were 13 years old and playing (and defending) this game. So this is really an epidemic in our fair nation and atheistic bimbos like you would rather see this nation get torn asunder.

Hello I'm an avid gamer and also an atheist. I've read this topic to about page 49 before making this post.

Rev. Jim Osborn I'd just like to say I respect and appreciate that you went through the trouble to play Fallout 3, a game you obviously didn't enjoy, before instantly judging it. While I don't agree with your views and believe a few of your more active posters could act a bit friendlier, if not only to make their views more presentable to the people who come here because of this topic, I admire your ability to not blindly condemn anything that seems to go against your beliefs.

I made this post to show gamers and atheists aren't all so bad and can in fact come here without forcing their beliefs on you. Please continue to believe what you believe and do what you feel is right.

I admire your politeness and manners. I'm used to having atheist gamers like you attack me senselessly and hurl unwarranted insults at me. So, I do appreciate the fact you recognize that I spent time studying this game at length (actually I myself didn't play but observed my grandnephew for several hours), since I am willing to put up with evil in whatever form, for the sake of educating my fellow Christians about its dangers.

Now, while you may be polite and respectful, in God's eyes you are bad. As a matter of fact, He considers you a fool!

I myself have played both games in question (Oblivion & Fallout 3). And i am a christian and fellow reader of the King John. I have to say I love this game, whats not to like about Oblivion you get to smite Demon's with a flaming sword and send them back to the pits of hell. Kind of like the Angel of Death and you guy's must love him. And on Fallout you can do the same with super mutants what's not to love.
