Unlike almost everyone in the world who claims the name "Christian", we alone do NOT twist the truth when it comes to presenting what is actually in the Bible.

Our very purpose here is to get everyone to read it FOR THEMSELVES, so that they, too, can come to see the Truth® about God.


And I'll let you in on a little secret . . . sometimes I don't exactly like everything that I read in the Bible. Honestly, it can be a little hard to live with, day in and day out. Being a woman, and extra sinful by nature--as we read first in Genesis-- it can be really tough to keep my mouth shut and my head covered in church. But that is what the Bible says I must do, so if I want to call myself a Bible believing Christian, what choice do I have?

Sure, if I were an atheist I could speak up and insist that my ideas and opinions count as much as any man's, but the Bible doesn't give me that option. Woman have their place in God's creation and when they stay there, God is pleased. When they rebel against their fathers or husbands or pastors or government officials who are just looking out for them, well, that is, in essence, rebelling against God.

You know who else rebelled against God? SATAN! That who.

So, if I want to be a Satan-worshipping witch, then I can do whatever I want. I can disavow the Bible entirely, or I can twist it to suit my own personal preferences, like so many so-called Christians today.

But as I am a True Christian™, I don't do that. The Bible isn't some casserole recipe that allows me to substitute peas for lima beans, even if I like peas and can barely stand the taste of lima beans. The Bible is God's Word and I know this because God said so in the Bible.

That's enough to shut me up and make me grab the bag of frozen lima beans.

Garrys mod offers as much creative freedoms to mock god as; this forum does, or the computer you're using does, or the internet you used to find this forum does. So should we avoid these creative mediums purely because of how they can (potentially ) be used?

I can't believe how ingorant you all are! I am a chrisian but the things you write here are so filled with nonsense. Redeemed papist... when you say that something is "against your belief" you have to have some freaking facts to back up your accusation. I play Gmod ALL THE TIME. I never see any people going "god hates us" "god is not real" or anything in that way. The pictures you posted here are not relevant at all to what the game is about. The game is a mod to a game called "Half Life" and it can also run more "Source" games and include them in the mod. With all these models you can build, shape and create your own world. You can make neat pictures, build huge projects or just have plain fun. This game has no way of "offending" god. The players get the same amount of "opportunity" to offend god and the christian religion in that as they can in the real world. But then again: I don't blame you for being stupid. I guess you're just born that way.

It has nothing to to with the words of the lord. Eating your breakfast does not have anything to do with his words either. It's a game which lets you do things. True christians know they are not supreme to god. They get to do things, but not as many things as god. They get to build stuff and put them together. They can create artificial intelligence. This is not filth we are talking about. This game is a game that lets you be creative.

Think of it as painting. When you paint you can create whatever you want.
When you play Garry's Mod you can create whatever you want. Is painting filth? No. It's not filth... as long as you don't mock god. Some atheists mock god because they lack intelligence. Real atheists don't mock god, they just belive in what they believe.
