I think it is absolutley ridiculous that in our country we are telling people they can't get married because they aren't exactly like them. I'm a straight guy who is a Catholic, but I have to say gay rights has to be one of the most important issues we have in our country and I can only hope that President Obama goes with his heart and works on giving equal rights to all.

ou must be the most illeducated, judgmental person I have been exposed to. God's teachings are first and foremost to love one another and treating others with kindness and compassion. Even if you don't believe in someone's life style, you should still be respectful and understanding of it. You make a mockery of the christian faith by voicing your antiquated views of how the world works. Your views are neither loving nor accepting. I would have to say, someone who follows their heart has a better chance of making it to the pearly gates than you do. God does not honor those who discriminate on the basis of life style. God does not make mistakes. If it is wrong to be gay, why would he create people who are gay? Gay people are just as much a blessing as every other person. The measure of a man is not who he chooses to lie with but rather the manner in which he chooses to conduct his life.

For the record, not every person who is gay has AIDS. And you can only contract AIDS if you use the same needles or "works" as an infected person. You can also contract it if you have sex with an infected person. Since I can assume from your hatred toward homosexuals, you did not have sex with the man serving you your food, you had no chance of being exposed.A more informed person would not make the same argument. A straight person is just as likely as a gay person to have contracted AIDS. So you have no basis for an argument.

Quite frankly, your views disgust me and you have no compassion for any human who is different from yourself. You represent the hipocracy in religion the way you chide others for something that is out of their control. You and your radical ideas are what is wrong with the world, not the gay people.

None of what you say makes any sense if viewed through God's Loving eyes. Please show us where God commands us to "be nice to" sodomites. Where are we told to "tolerate" child molesters? What verse says "be respectful and understanding of" satan worshipers?
