I was wondering about that, Mr Much. Back in her intro thread she mentioned an IQ test - what age do they test children to see if they need seats on the short bus? 11? 12? (She also seems to think that the average IQ is 80, which says a lot about her background. )

She (like every other teen) is desperate to fit in with her peers, and these days you do that by showing you're the same as everyone else because you're different from everyone else (but in the same way as your closest friends, because you're not some freak) and you're misunderstood and persecuted for the differences you identify with (this week).

You are so rarely correct that I had to read that several times to make sure there wasn't a trick in it! But on this occasion, yes. She is rebelling by being absolutely normal and however much we reassure her that it is absolutely normal to be absolutely normal, that's not what she wants to hear. In that respect also she is absolutely normal by the standards of her pre-teen peers.

I find it all very sad, but Jesus can help if she allows him to.

I should have fact-checked on the IQ number, that was my mistake. The average is actually between 95 and 105. Either way however, my IQ is still above average at 125.

So you have to fall in love before deciding if they are handsome or repulsive, beaner?

The golden question! I was googling people's thoughts on asexuality and why it is a "sin" and once I saw this forum, I had to step in and say something! I can't say I expected to change any minds; I know how stubborn Christians are. This past week was Asexuality Awareness Week; I'm part of a panel in my college who will be talking about my experiences as demi.

In short, I came to educate--whether people are willing to accept what I have to say is their choice, c'est la vie. But I have to admit, I knew people here were hateful, but I wasn't expecting this much hate directed at me! Before I even started causing a ruckus, as soon as I mentioned being Catholic and Mexican (and a woman), BAM! You people are quick!

I underestimated how much being called a m******n and r****d can weigh on a person after a while, I was expecting a few laughs. (Although that anal baby thread and the one about impregnating one's hand for masturbating were golden.)

I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life since discovering my sexuality and being able to share myself with the love of my life. I actually pity all of you; being so angry must get exhausting. And having to repress yourselves of joys like decent lovemaking? That's really tough. If God didn't want us to enjoy it, why did He give us nerves and organs that make it feel so great?

How to have the best muffins around:

Lots of people love eating a good muffin. Especially warm and moist, delicious! Did you know there are secrets so that you can undoubtedly eat the best muffins--dare I say, heavenly muffins? It's true!

Your muffin has to be buttered and moist; stale dry muffins can't be saved with all the butter in the world. If you can poke your finger inside without resistence, perfect. (Sometimes jelly is also good on certain muffins, but I'll stick with butter here.) If your muffin is too hard and you have to force your finger through, don't bother! It's no good breaking and destroying a dry muffin just to poke it. If you want a truly delicious muffin, go for the soft ones.

Before you can eat muffins though, you have to bake them. You need the basic ingredients like flour and sugar and stuff, but it's always a great idea to add a little something extra, be it bananas, chocolate, or whatever you want. Muffins are very versatile like that.

When getting ready to bake your muffins, you should definitely protect them with a paper muffin/cupcake wrapper. These can come in some really cute designs and colors, but let's go with white for now.

You have to be careful your paper cup doesn't fold or tear in any way that would get any muffin batter onto the metal tin; it’s got to be perfectly sturdy. They can withstand a lot, but they are still paper. Plus burned muffin on a metal tin is really tough to scrape off and clean and leads to unnecessary problems.

Aw boo. I got censored last time for using objective terms for ~gland-to-gland combat~ as someone so eloquently put it, so I used more family friendly terms. I was hoping somebody would pick up on it. Part of me is glad you didn't, so I know I won't be immediately banned, but I worked hard on that.

At the risk of your husband hitting you, I'd like to ask a favor that you use that brain I know you have to think of a semi-original insult.

For example, I could repeatedly call any of you 10-year-olds that pick fights online when your mom isn't looking so you can feel good while you're still losing baby teeth.

But we're all adults here. Well--I am, at least.

Sweetie, it's not about name-calling. It's about what a person's behavior online can tell us about what this person's real personality is like. Your biological age might be 22 (we don't really have a way to check that, do we?). Nevertheless, the level of emotional maturity which shows in your posts is more typical for a teenager. Please feel free to review posts by Sister Joanna and that Didymus guy to see the basis of this assessment. (And yes, thinking that we are just name-calling you fits beautifully in this pattern).
