What's wrong with listening to your conscience is that if that's all you do, you have no way of knowing whether your conscience is right. Lots of people listen to their consciences and get mutually exclusive answers; how do you know who's right? The answer is that without some clear and objective guide (i.e., the King James Bible), you don't:

Jeremiah 17:9: The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

How so? Back up your answer with Scripture.

Oh, sorry, I didn't realize you weren't finished sharing your completely unsupported personal opinions that you've mistaken for actual facts, yet.

How about taking it somewhere people actually give a shit about your "feelings", because God of the Bible sure doesn't?

So you must obey a book all the time, you can't think by yourself, you're basically a slave, a sheep or a zombie, that's a terrible lesson. If you're in a very, VERY difficult moment, and you have no time to check on your bible, what are you gonna do? Just sit and wait for God to tell you an answer?

How so? Back up your answer with Scripture.

That's what I mean, you only obey, you never think, you only do whatever that stupid book says, I'm surprised you can put your clothes on every morning without help

So, following a few simple, reasonable rules makes us stupid? Let me ask you this: when you are following a recipe, do you just randomly substitute ingredients, like putting talcum powder instead of flour, or ball bearings instead of ricotta cheese?

              Yeah, your system sounds awesome.

                      Rom.1:26-27
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature. And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Whoever told you that, dear, either lied to you knowingly or did not know the Bible.

Genesis 9:25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
Genesis 9:26 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

Numbers 25:6 And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
                          Numbers 25:7 And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand;
Numbers 25:8 And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel.

Deuteronomy 7:3 Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son.

Deuteronomy 23:2 A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD.

Nehemiah 13:23 In those days also saw I Jews that had married wives of Ashdod, of Ammon, and of Moab:
Nehemiah 13:24 And their children spake half in the speech of Ashdod, and could not speak in the Jews' language, but according to the language of each people.
Nehemiah 13:25 And I contended with them, and cursed them, and smote certain of them, and plucked off their hair, and made them swear by God, saying, Ye shall not give your daughters unto their sons, nor take their daughters unto your sons, or for yourselves.
Nehemiah 13:26 Did not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things? yet among many nations was there no king like him, who was beloved of his God, and God made him king over all Israel: nevertheless even him did outlandish women cause to sin.
Nehemiah 13:27 Shall we then hearken unto you to do all this great evil, to transgress against our God in marrying strange wives?
Nehemiah 13:28 And one of the sons of Joiada, the son of Eliashib the high priest, was son in law to Sanballat the Horonite: therefore I chased him from me.
Nehemiah 13:29 Remember them, O my God, because they have defiled the priesthood, and the covenant of the priesthood, and of the Levites.
                          Nehemiah 13:30 Thus cleansed I them from all strangers, and appointed the wards of the priests and the Levites, every one in his business;

That's just the Old Testament, you might say. Didn't Jesus preach kumbaya for all? you might ask.

Well, let Jesus speak for himself:

                          Matthew 15:22-28
22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.
28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

You see, my dear, Jesus was racist, too.

                          I hope that helps.
God created fossils to test our faith.

                                Yeah, your system sounds awesome.

If you want to confuse me you're gonna have to do something better than that... Life is too complex and there's not just one way to live it, you use the bible to know how to live yours, but if another people don't want to do it your first reaction is judge them and send them to hell, you know what I think? You're scared of things you don't understand, and that's why you prefer to protect yourself behind a book

And yeah, that was for everybody here
