First of all lets get one thing straight. I am neither unsaved nor trash. That sounds like a third grade mentality. I do not like the name so keep it to yourself. I live in Lone Oak, KY and am a deacon and Sunday School teacher in a small Baptist church. I came to know Christ at a revival being held locally, and was convicted by the Holy Spirit that I was a sinner before a Holy God and headed to hell without Christ. I put my faith and trust in Him and His work on the cross, and He saved me. I was saved by grace through faith, because I sure do not deserve His grace. My favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:28.

Captain, we are prayerfully hopeful that you are not more of the usual unsaved trash who come among us to vex Christians. We are here as part of an international outreach mission of the Landover Baptist Church designed to locate Christians, many of whom are endangered by foul sinners, that we may fellowship with them and give them such aid as is required. Most who answer our call here turn out to be unsaved wretches, but they always reveal themselves eventually. Some and hopefully you are one, turn out to be righteous and upright Christians. Until the facts are discovered by our investigations and security ministry, we assume (correctly usually) that all newcomers are unsaved trash, or worse. Be patient; time will tell.


I have noticed that you seem somewhat angry. This is unseemly. I note that you hail from Kentucky. Has your family been long time residents there? The residents of Kentucky style themselves as Southerners, but they chose to remain in the Union during the War of Northern Aggression. It may help in the investigation if you were to state your opinion of that treachery.

Until your Salvation has been guaranteed, it's prudent to assume that like most people who consider themselves Christians, you also are riding the coal chute straight to Hell (Matthew 25:31-46). Surely you understand, the righteous simply do not hobnob with agents of darkness (2 Corinthians 6:14). If you think "unsaved trash" is mean, what do you think about Jesus calling you filthy, disgusting, crusty old menstrual rags (Isaiah 64:6)?

Well sure, everyone wants to feel special, don't they? Like the Creator of the Universe has His Eye on them, watching with love everything they do, rooting for them, cheering them on, comforting them from the recesses of some intangible corner of reality. You understand that just because you believe it to be so doesn't mean your belief corresponds to reality. The LORD tells us that the heart is deceitful and wicked above all else and to not trust it (Jeremiah 17:9). Your "testimony" is naught but personal assurances that your beliefs are True. What you need to trust dear, is the Holy Bible. That's all we trust, and if you are truly one of the elect, we'll know. In the meantime, be patient. It's not hard for one who has actually been given the fruits of the Spirit of Christ (Galatians 5:22-23).

Personally, I'm curious if you do fit the qualifications of one Truly Saved. Do you believe Jesus meant what He said and said what He meant? All of it, or just the parts you think make sense in conjunction with the knowledge and ethical standards of a 21st century, western civilization model of morality? Have you seen a doctor since your supposed Born Again experience (James 5:14-15)? Have you avoided all claims of science (1 Timothy 6:20 )? Have you continually shunned and rebuked unbelievers (Ephesians 5:11)? Do you love Jesus enough to follow His commands (John 14:15 )? Every one of them (Matthew 5:17)? Have you sold your house and all your things (Mark 10:21)? Are you typing on a computer at the local library, or do you own the one you are using, and if you own it, will you sell it forthwith?

I am not a member of this forum but I find that these white people are very welcoming and they have become very fond of me. I am an unrepentant Black man and I am Rastafari so I am not eligible for membership. If you are a Baptist and a white man you have found your home. I urge you not to provoke these white people because they are armed and they are easily angered if they are lectured. I am sure they will accept you in time.

If you wish to be treated as a five years old, keep doing what you're doing. On the other hand, if you wish to be treated as an adult, please start acting like an adult. You have no basis for your judgment, therefore, your judgment is not righteous, therefore, Jesus doesn't like it (Matthew 7:1-5, John 7:24).

If you cannot afford to buy a Bible (because it is quite clear that you haven't read it yet), you can read it online, for example here. I hope that was helpful.
