Thank you, Tony, for following our request that you visit our introductory forum. One of the requests we also make is that you share with us your favorite scripture. Since this is a site about the Bible we want Bible readers among us. We're looking forward to your reply.
Isaiah 24:1-3 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty (2)...as the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. (3) The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken his word.

Here is my favorite bible verse. Proverbs 3:5-6
[5] Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; [6] in all your ways know him, and he will make your paths straight.

When you put your faith in Jesus Christ, you will live according to His plan.

I have another question. I have tried to post on other threads and it says I am not authorized. Am I doing something wrong? Please let me know.

Yes. Proverbs is a great piece of writing, clearly inspired by God. Here it is from the KJV:
          .
Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Notice the verb in the last clause – He shall direct. Not maybe. Not until 1642 but then you're on your own. There is so much good advice in Proverbs; I hope you continue reading.

Certainly you deserve an answer to this reasonable question. Our tech Christians advise us to pray when issues like this arrive. Pray and then try again is what often works.

Our Department of Faith is conducting a thorough background investigation to see why Jesus is punishing you this way.

You say you cannot post at all? Or is it just not allowing you to create new threads? You should be able to post. Maybe demons infested your computer?

              I will pray for you.

Hello. I appreciate the replies. It still is weird, but I think I have found a workaround.

I have no problem posting on this particular thread, but when replying to other threads, it will not post unless I enter in some URL as if I were trying to link a website. I cannot shut off the URL link.

Therefore I just entered in www.landoverbaptist.net. Sorry if it becomes redundant, but it is the only workaround I am aware of. Any ideas? Did I do something wrong?

Such a nice young man. If you are not married that matter can be attended to quickly enough. Many families in the Landover community have fine young daughters to offer. The bride price can be more easily negotiated if you're willing to accept an older girl of 15.
