You hit my next point about the REAL core values of Christianity right on the head, my friend. One of the greatest themes of the Bible is the division of humanity into the saved and the damned. The Chosen People and the heathen, the righteous and the ungodly. That belief in the superiority of one kind of people permeates the Bible.

Nearly all Christian churches today preach that God is color-blind and perfectly egalitarian, willing to save anyone and everyone...but the fact is that to the True Christian there are still only two kinds of people: the Saved and the Damned. And if you don't believe as we do, then yes, you are damned.

So you are right. Dead on the money. If ya ain't saved ya ain't a worthy person. As Jerry Falwell said, "If you're not a born-again Christian, you're a failure as a human being."
