Honestly I was astonished by what I've read on this website. I'll be honest I don't understand the reasoning of this church. It is so hypocritical that it took me an hour to convince myself that the site was too complex to be merely a joke. Jesus said to love everyone and treat them with kindness, but all you do is promote hate and violence against all those that don't agree with you. Well Jesus didn't do that, even as he was nailed to the cross he looked down at those that put them there and forgave them and loved them. Wouldn't that be the correct example to follow?

I'd love to know more about you, like when you became Saved(c) and what your favorite verse is.
I have seen complaints like yours before and they are all from a lack of through comprehension. See son, you cannot read bits and pieces and think you have the whole story. In a nutshell, we follow the KJV1611 Bible, cover to cover, every single word exactly as written. Because of our devotion to God (you know what I mean , I am sure) many hate us. They persecute us, attempt to close us down, even arrest us for no reason. But we still love everyone.Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?

The reasoning is that the 1611 KJV Bible is the inerrant word of God. Because of this, everything in the Bible must be followed or you are going against the Word of God. If you don't follow the Word of God, you are not a True Christian™ and will go to hell.Originally posted by Grinch View Post

Hi Gringh, welcome to our Forum!
It is understandable that you are surprised or even shocked by what you find on this forum. Many people are at first, but once they hear our arguments and read the Bible, they find that everything hear is carefully researched and backed up by the Bible.
I noticed that you didn't use Scripture to back up your argument about Jesus Christ. Why not? Probably because you have a general and vague idea of that the Bible said, but you never truly read it from beginning to end.
I don't mean this as criticism, just trying to explain that Christians who did read the entire Bible have different views than Christians who read only the parts that fit the narrative they're looking for.
But please feel free to challenge any position that you feel God disagrees with. Any True Christian worth his salt can back up anything he says with Scripture. There is no blind faith here or assumptions. Only us, God and the Bible.
P.S. We love everyone and want everyone to come to Heaven with us! But we aren't God and don't make the rules, so we can only encourage people to follow God's rules.I take my orders from Jesus H. Christ, supernatural born US citizen
Be wary of false Kumbaya Christians who use a highlighter and scissors to read the Bible. God wants us to read the lines, not between the lines. False Christians will go to Hell:
Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Asking a Christian to prove God exists is like asking him to prove his phone rings because yours doesn't. Make that call yourself! Dial 0800-get-on-your-knees-and-pray.

Honestly, I am astonished that you think that way about our glorious church. I would say we are the perfect examples of people leading Christ-like lives because we follow all of the Bible, not just bits and pieces. Unfortunately, your perception of who Jesus Christ is seems to have been distorted by myths propagated by cults and other false Christians.
Jesus was about love and forgiveness, yes. That is true. But it is ignorant and downright wrong to assume that's all He was about. Jesus was not afraid to show anger, show hatred, or judge people for their sins. He was not some peace-loving hippie that loved everyone and went around letting people sin all they want.
Here are some verses that I hope may enlighten you.
Matthew 15:26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
(In that verse, Jesus was talking about a Canaanite woman and referred to her as a "dog".)
Matthew 12:34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
(Calling the pharisees a "generation of vipers" and also part of a long speech where he judges them, rebukes them, curses them, etc.)
John 15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
(Jesus is saying if you don't accept him as your Savior, you are going to Hell.)
Matthew 16:23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
Jesus calling Peter "Satan" and saying he offends Jesus greatly. Where is the happy love and forgiveness here?
Luke 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
If you don't hate your own parents, wife, kids, siblings, family, and your own life as well -- you cannot be a disciple of Jesus! But wait, I thought he said we should love everyone, right? Or not.
Then there's the story of Jesus overturning tables in the temple and yelling at the people, or when he was at the wedding at Cana and disrespected his own mother in front of everyone, etc., but I'm sure I've made my point.Comment

Ironic! When i first came here i saw nothing but love. The author of this thread says it's hypocritical and promotes hate and violence. I sometimes become sadden when i read the comments by those who hate my Jesus. Nevertheless tonight my Prayers will be for this pitiful creature that he may one day open his eyes like i did. I once was lost like that poor Soul but through this Church and the love of God i was saved.Comment

You are grossly mistaken. We do not hate people, it is the Love(tm) of Jesus Christ and Biblical Law that drives us to say the words we say, and do the things we do.
